MDSU Ajmer BSc admission start after Class 12 exams of recognised boards end. Candidates who want to apply for admission at the university can apply after they have given their Class 12 exams. There are no additional entrance exams necessary for admission into the programme, once Class 12 results are out candidates are provided with provisional admission at the university. Candidates have to pay some amount of the tuition fees to finalise their admission.

MDSU admissions for UG & PG courses generally start in the month of May. The applications for other courses started around the same timeline. There are no the latest dates released by the university. MDSU accepts applications for MBA in the online mode, and the application fee for the course is INR 300. The fee is non-refundable and can be paid through bank challan. To receive the Need Cum Merit scholarship at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, students need to qualify for the eligibility criteria set by the university. The criteria are:

• The scholarship is available for students enrolled in all UG and PG courses in the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Campus, Ajmer.
• The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed INR 2.50 Lacs from all sources.
• Financial assistance will be given to pursue higher education in the University Campus. The Scholarship amount will be credited to the student's account in the Bank available at the Campus.

There are about 436 colleges affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University through which all the Certificate undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in various specialisations are offered.
