The National Testing Agency will release the CUET UG 2025 notification and information bulletin tentatively in the last week of February. The CUET UG 2025 notification will mention the important dates pertaining to the application form, admit card, and exam dates. Along with the CUET UG notification, authorities will commence the CUET registrations. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2025 exam in May/June as part of the common entrance exam calendar.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University accepts admission based on entrance exams. The university accepts national entrance exams such as CUET UG, CUET PG, JEE Main, etc., are also accepted by the university. The university admission process begins with an online application. Interested students must fill out the online application for the respective courses on the official website of the university. 

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. For other UG and PG courses, Rohilkhand University accepts a valid scores of CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams. Later on, the selected students are allocated seats via a counselling process. MJRPU offers around 30 courses at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. Some of the courses include BTech, MA, MSc, LLB, LLM, B.Ed, M.Ed, and various others. MJRPU admissions based on merit and entrance exam for some courses. The university further conducts an entrance exam for admission to the MSc, LLB, B.Ed, B/El.Ed, BPEd, M.Ed, and LLM courses.

MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU) was established in 1975 as Rohilkhand University. It was renamed in 1997 to honor the social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. It got the status of a residential university in 1985, when four more departments were increased. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited with a "B" Grade by the NAAC. The university has a campus of 206 acres in Bareilly. MJPRU is affiliated with 215 colleges.  The university has been ranked 34 under the Overall by the India Today 2024.
