No, its not hard to get admission at MJPRU University but it is competitive. The university offers UG and PG courses across various specilisations such as Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, Medical, and others. MJPRU Bareilly conducts its entrance exam such as MJPRU Entrance Exam for admission to specific courses. National-level entrance exams like CUET UG, CUET PG,  JEE Main, etc., are also accepted by the university.

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. For other UG and PG courses, Rohilkhand University accepts a valid scores of CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams. Later on, the selected students are allocated seats via a counselling process. MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

The University offers over 30 programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. The National Testing Agency will release the CUET UG 2025 notification and information bulletin tentatively in the last week of February. The CUET UG 2025 notification will mention the important dates pertaining to the application form, admit card, and exam dates. Along with the CUET UG notification, authorities will commence the CUET registrations. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2025 exam in May/June as part of the common entrance exam calendar.
