The 2023 placement drive at Mangalore University concluded with 1,181 PG (2-year) and 24 MCA students placed. Mangalore University offers admission to various UG, PG, PhD, Certificate and PG Diploma courses on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 for UG level admissions and graduation for PG level course admissions. Apart from this, candidates must qualify respective entrance exams for the preferred courses. 
Candidates must apply for the admission process through the online application process provided by the university. Post successful application submission, candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list/ cutoff list of the accepted entrance exams. For final admission, candidates must pay the fees and confirm candidature.

Mangalore University offers admission on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. The university offers UG, PG, PhD, PG Diploma and certificate programmes in various streams such as Management, Commerce, Arts, Science and Technology. Admission to several courses is offered based on the valid scores of accepted exams such as Karnataka PGCET, KCET, CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, and other equivalent examinations. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 35% to 45% in Class 12 and 45% to 50% in graduation. 

As per the NIRF report 2024, out of 1,481 PG (2-year) graduates 1,181 students were placed successfully during 2023 placements. On the other hand, 24 out of 26 MCA students were placed. Top recruiters were Grant Thornton, KPMG, Ernst and Young, ICICI, MRF. Top roles offered are audit analyst, audit associate, sales managers, human resource executive, project manager.Companies like Cognizant, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla, Samsung, and Oracle visit the campus for recruitment. Tata and many companies recruited students in many places like Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Mysore, etc.

Mangalore University, an accredited higher educational institution was established in 1980, and has since been catering to the higher educational needs of three districts of the southern Indian state of Karnataka. It is a public, state-funded University and has evolved into a centre for advanced studies and research with a good ranking at the national level. The campus is spread over 353 acres and The main campus has 28 academic departments offering 47 Masters and 33 Doctoral Programmes spread over four faculties: Arts, Commerce, Education and Science & Technology with 12 PG programmes

Mangalore University offers 123 seats in its MBA/PGDM programs. There are a total of 1454 seats in affiliated institutes and among these the names include St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology that holds 240 seats, Saroj Educational Group with 300 seats, Srinivas Institute of Management Studies holding 120 seats, and A.J. Institute of Management with 180 seats.

Application Process of Mangalore University:
Mangalore University accepts applications through both online and offline processes. For offline mode, candidates need to submit the application form along with the application fee to the university as per their choice of programme. For online mode, candidates need to visit the official website.

Selection Rounds:
The selection process is based on merit followed by selection rounds conducted by the university. After this, the candidates need to wait for the release of their results.

Admission Confirmation:
Once the selection rounds are done, the shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Aspirants must pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Mangalore University offers courses such as BSc in various specialisations for the duration of 3 years to 4 years in full-time mode. Admissions to the respective courses is offered on the basis of merit and requires for candidates to secure a minimum aggregate of 35% in Class 12 with valid scores in CBSE 12, Karnataka 2 PUC, ISC, KCET, UK 12. The university offers admission to BSc with an annual intake of 5400+ students. 

Mangalore University offers BTech for the duration of 4 years in full-time mode. The University offers BTech in various specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Science and Engineering and many more. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by securing a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 and valid scores in KCET. Candidates can apply for the admission process and complete the procedure to confirm a seat at Mangalore University.

Mangalore University offers MBA as a 2 year UG level programme in full-time mode. Admission to the MBA programme is done through the PGCET exam conducted by the Karnataka state government. Apart from this, the university considers KCET, CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT or other equivalent. Furthermore, the university offers an MBA on the basis of 45% minimum aggregate in graduation. 

Mangalore University offers courses at the UG, PG, PhD, PG Diploma, and Certificate levels. Admission to majority of courses is offered on the basis of Karnataka PGCET and KCET. Primarily, Mangalore University offers courses such as BPEd and MBA on the basis of valid scores of KCET. Apart from this, candidates must qualify Class 12 and graduation for admission to UG and PG level courses. 

The university offers admission on one or more of the entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and KMAT, for admissions in MBA programs. The university follows the offline mode of application. Candidates need to download and send the filled form to the university.

Students are admitted to B.PEd. course on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test, merit in the qualifying examination, and on the basis of sports representation.

You have to score 70% of marks in puc and after that fulfill the form given by the college. There is no reservation bemifits at all. It's easy to learn and write the exam those who attended the class.
