MUJ review: A university for your dream college life.

Placements: Being in the first year we have not received the opportunity of recruitment. However, our seniors have received opportunities from various institutions with a good amount of salary packages. Faculty members has also helped students to apply for internships and jobs.

Infrastructure: Campus is quite vast and infrastructure is beautiful. Our classrooms have vast space and projectors, smart boards, air-conditioners, and heaters. Also, the hostel life is amazing providing and fulfilling all the necessary needs, and safety measures and taken with utmost care.

Faculty: Teachers are all Ph.D. degree holders and with their valuable knowledge, our concepts are quite clear. Also, course curriculum prepares students well for our master's and trains them for job opportunities as well. Semester exams are tough although if the student has attended the lectures we can pass them with ease.

Other: Economics is an up growing branch and course curriculum is quite interesting. However, the lecture schedule can be improved as it occupies the whole day for students. However, extracurricular activities and clubs have improved the college life. Manipal provides various scholarships for merit students, single female child, and sports students helping them waver their 100% fees.

No placement but a place to make a lot of memories.

Placements: If you are looking for placement, there is no chance you will get one from this course, even the few 1-2% who gets the placement it will not be in the economics field. The highest package is around 2 LPA. Coming on to the internship part students have to get it on there own if they wish to.

Infrastructure: You won't be disappointed by the level of infrastructure here for sure, and all the world-class facilities are available here from the big library, Wi-Fi, labs, air-condition and digital classrooms, medical facilities, all the sports ground and playing area. The hostel is of the same level top class with many restaurants inside it.

Faculty: Not all the teachers were helpful and knowledgeable, but sure all of them were well qualified. Some of the teachers had amazing teaching skills, but others didn't have the qualities of a teacher. As the classes were digital, teachers used that to teach us through videos and post. The curriculum was relevant, but again the teaching methods weren't.

Other: A good college for extracurricular activities, 4-6 big events happening around the year with celebrity as a guest coming to the events. Sports tournaments, Hostel Tournament. You will enjoy your life though they need to get students some placements.

The college is good at infrastructure, but lags in placements.

Placements: The placements provided are very poor as we got placed in a BPO call centre. The college is not even bothered about placements. No student from our department got placed till now. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 5,000 per month. Only the placements for the students of B.Tech and MBA are good. The college has a placement cell, but it is not efficient. The placement cell is not even bothered about the placements of the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is top-class. It is the only thing which attracted me to join this college. All kinds of facilities are provided such as Wi-Fi, labs, library, A/C classrooms, cafeteria, medical facilities, sports and games etc. Hostel rooms are good, but the fee is very high.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They use all types of teaching methods like presentations, and oral explanation etc. The student to faculty ratio is low. The college provides industry exposure. The course curriculum was useful to an extent, but some subjects are very irritating, and they do not make sense.

If you want to explore, you can join this, but not if you want to get placed in the same field.

Placements: We can't expect placements from a department where inter-departmental politics exists. The students from department got placed in a BPO company where a non- graduate can also participate. For that placement, we have to spend energy for 15-20 days just to ask our department's placement coordinator to speak to the authorities. It doesn't make any sense of thinking to get placed here. No proper information is circulated on time. No value to official e-mails.

Infrastructure: The only reason to join Manipal University Jaipur is its infrastructure. But, it is only till you join. Afterwards, you get irritated with the infrastructure because beauty is of physical infrastructure, but I will give -5 to the social infrastructure.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very good whom you cannot find anywhere else, and rest is like 0. They don't know what they are teaching. If you ask any question, then they are unanswerable. An incident happened to me that a teacher was teaching me in the 3rd year. They don't know the simple concept of demand and supply which a student of economics was taught in 11th class. This means a student who passed the 11th class is better than the faculty here. When any question is asked, they just say the theory and economist. The curriculum is good only if it is taught by good teachers which is not possible here.

Other: This college is known for events. Students developed the co-curricular activities. The college is best for events. They are very supportive. There is a special club for economics, and you will love it.

It provides good infrastructure, facilities and perfect hostel life.

Placements: Some companies visit our college to hire students from our batch, but most of the students opt for higher education. The economics department in our university is still working on its placements as compared with other top-notch economics colleges in India.

Infrastructure: Our college provides air-conditioned classrooms, a library, and Wi-Fi enabled campus. The infrastructure of our college is one of the best. Centralised cooling and heating systems are available in the hostels. A swimming pool, gym, and other sports facilities are also provided in the hostel area. You will enjoy many food outlets like Domino's, tandoor, etc., inside the hostel campus, so they are available till late at night.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and latest. Teachers help us work on our soft skills and personality development. Some faculty members are exceptionally good, and some are average. They all are ready to help students in all possible ways during and after class hours.
