Yes, Rajasthan University does release a merit list for the BA programme. Once students have filled out the application form, the university prepares a merit list. The merit list contains students names in order of their ranks. These ranks are decided based on students Class 12 marks. Generally, this list is made available on the university's official website. Thus, students must keep checking the official website to stay updated.

The University of Rajasthan offers BA seats via various affiliated colleges. Thus, the university boasts a high number of seats for the BA programme. As per official sources, there are a total of 95,536 seats available for BA admissions. Students must note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

BA admission at Rajasthan University is merit-based. The university releases the cut-off required for admission its BA courses. The cut-off is based on Class 12 merit of applicants. The cut-off for BA courses has been over 90% for the past three years. Candidate failing to secure the cut-off marks can seek admission at other universities/colleges offering similar courses. Alternatively, they can check out the colleges offering online BA courses.

The University Maharani College cutoff 2024 for the admission to undergraduate courses has been released for Round 2. As per the Rajasthan Universtiy cutoff 2024, the required percentage to get admission in UG courses for General AI category candidates varied between 97.8 and 53.6. Moreover, the required percentages for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, B.Sc. in Statistics, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics for General AI students are 97.8, 97.2, 96.4 and 96.4, respectively.

Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the required percentages varied from 55.2 to 96.8.
