Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science University (MATS) was established in 2006 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. In Chhattisgarh, it is the oldest private university. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), BCI, and UGC (University Grants Commission) all recognise the university. The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 1.9 lakh. JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April.
