MDSU Ajmer BSc admission start after Class 12 exams of recognised boards end. Candidates who want to apply for admission at the university can apply after they have given their Class 12 exams. There are no additional entrance exams necessary for admission into the programme, once Class 12 results are out candidates are provided with provisional admission at the university. Candidates have to pay some amount of the tuition fees to finalise their admission.

MDSU admissions for UG & PG courses generally start in the month of May. The applications for other courses started around the same timeline. There are no the latest dates released by the university. Students can seek the estimation from this timeline for the upcoming admission dates for the next year. No entrance exam is required for admission to MBA at MDSU. There is no need of qualifying for any state or national-level entrance exam. Direct admission is offered to eligible candidates based on their merit scores obtained in the last qualifying exam. As per the minimum eligibilit criteria, it's mandatory for candidates to have a UG degree from a recognised university at the time of applying for the course.

To apply for MBA admission, candidates need to submit a duly-filled application form along with all the required details and documents. MDSU accepts applications for MBA in the online mode, and the application fee for the course is INR 300. The fee is non-refundable and can be paid through bank challan. Once the application form is submitted, take a printout of the same for future reference.

To receive the Need Cum Merit scholarship at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, students need to qualify for the eligibility criteria set by the university. The criteria are:
- The scholarship is available for students enrolled in all UG and PG courses in the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Campus, Ajmer.
- The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed INR 2.50 Lacs from all sources.
- Financial assistance will be given to pursue higher education in the University Campus. The Scholarship amount will be credited to the student's account in the Bank available at the Campus.


MDSU admission process begin with an online application process. Candidates must visit the official website to apply for their desired UG/ PG courses. Admissions to most of the courses is done based on merit scores of previous qualifying exams. Except for B.Ed and M.Ed courses. To get admission to these couses, candidates have to qualify for PTET and MTET, respectively. Based on the performance of candidates in all selection rounds, the university releases merit list in various rouds.

The admission process for majority of the courses at MDSU are merit-based. However, candidates wishing to apply to B.Ed or MEd are required to go through an entrance-based admission process. Candidates are judged over their performance in entrance exams such as PTET.
