B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) - Batch of 2024
4.4
It is the best private university in Indore.
Placements: Approximately 94.3% of the students were placed from our course of electrical and electronics branch. The highest salary package offered here was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were Tata Electrical and Mahindra. About 80% of the students got internship opportunities in various companies. Roles offered in our course are some but not limited to a senior electrical engineer, chief engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our course is up to the mark like classrooms, library and all are well-equipped with Wi-Fi. There is 24x7 water and electricity facility, and discipline is maintained. Staff members behave properly with students. The food served in the canteen meets very reasonable needs and a good taste.
Faculty: Faculty members available for our course are up to the mark. All the teachers here are highly qualified with a masters degree and PhD in India in their respective fields. They have a high teaching quality which makes them more friendly. The curriculum of the course is very informational and can be used in our job life and day to day life. Semester exams are challenging.
Other: I chose this course because there was a lot of scope for it in future because of many automation techniques used in electric vehicles and electronic devices. The best thing about this course is that it is always in demand.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) - Batch of 2015

It has average placements, but good infrastructure.
Placements: The majority of recruiters were from the Information Technology industry. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Amdocs, Tech Mahindra, DXC Technologies and Bosch visited our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered in the year 2015 ranges between 8-9 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. I do not know about the lowest salary package. Many students also got their jobs through off-campus placements. For the electrical and electronics engineering courses, only a few core companies visited our campus like Bridgestone and Bosch.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green with good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostels. Classrooms are spacious and well furnished. Labs are available for giving practical exposures to the students. For the electrical engineering branch, almost all the required facilities are available. During my time quality of the food served in the mess was pathetic. The college has a huge library with a variety of books. Medical facilities are available inside the campus. The college has a huge cricket and football ground. Gym facility is also available on the campus.
Faculty: The college has good and intellectual faculty members. The majority of faculty members did PhD from know universities of India. They have huge teaching experience, and some also have industry experience. In my opinion, their teaching quality was average. The course curriculum during my time was outdated, and several recommendations were provided by the students for re-structuring the course. The college has tie-up with few companies where frequent student visit is conducted.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a core engineering branch, and it has a lot of opportunities in terms of making a career in the electrical industry. It is very difficult to say the best things about the course because it is very subjective. The only improvement that I would suggest in the course is related to practical applications of the subjects. Moonstone 2K13 named fest organised at our college is the biggest tech fest in Central India. Campus crowd is good in terms of the quality. College provides an ample amount of time to involve in extracurricular activities. University toppers are awarded chancellor's scholarships for giving an extraordinary academic performance.

It has good infrastructure and good placements in 2015.
Placements: About 85% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Bridgestone, TCS and Bosch visit our campus for placements. Around 30% of the students got an internship in BHEL.
Infrastructure: There are separate infrastructures available for different courses. The infrastructure of our college is good and well maintained. Facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, etc., available in our college are very good. In the hostel, rooms are huge and spacious. Essential things like a bed, wardrobe, table were provided to each hostel student. Food served in the hostel was not up to the mark.
Faculty: Teachers in our course were well qualified and helpful. They conduct proper classes and cover every topic related to their subjects. As our colleges were affiliated to the State University, our college follows the recommended course curriculum. The course curriculum was designed in a good way, but there were some areas of improvements.

You can go for this college if you are really placement oriented.
Placements: Out of 60 around 25 got placed in the companies from my branch. In the year 2015 TCS was the mass recruiter from our college. An average package was around 3.8 LPA and the highest was 5.2 LPA, recently our college got converted into an university so it's also offering internships and all.
Infrastructure: The infra is good, proper Wi-Fi connection ( but limited). Warden was assigned to each hostel ( boys as well as girls). Mess food was not so good but other eatable stuff was manageable.
Faculty: Yes teachers are knowledgeable, helpful especially in the mechanical and automobile branch. I have done my graduation from electrical and electronics engineering and I want to say that the teachers were not upto the mark for it but yaa the labs and practicals were really informative.

Overall it was a best college for the students seeking CSE or IT streams.
Placements: 1. Around 30% were placed in my batch. 2. The lowest salary offered was Rs.16350 and the highest salary was Rs.45000. 3. Bridgestone, CSC, TCS, Tech. Mahindra, Bosch, Zycus, Musigma, CoCubes, Jabong, Yash Technologies, Impetus, etc. recruited the students. 4. GET, Associate product developers, Business analysts, Engineers, etc. roles were offered. 5. 2.8 lacs to 5.5 lacs salary was offered to our course.
Infrastructure: 1. Everything was good and value for money, No Wi-Fi facility for all students, Labs were sufficient enough for curriculum only. Talking about library, it was huge and have plenty of good books in it. 2. Hostels were there. Mess was okay vit canteen was pretty good.
Faculty: Teachers were very kind and helpful, qualifications level was above M.Tech. , quite knowledgeable. Teaching quality was not up to the mark. Curriculum was strictly based on basics but every year industrial visits and trainings leads to good industrial experience.

If your dream is to get placed in TCS, then Medi-Caps University is the best place.
Placements: About 50% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zycus, TCS and Capital One visit our campus for placements. A top role like assistant system engineer is offered to the students. An internship is not offered through the college. Students have to individually choose companies and have to take an internship at their own cost. A mass recruiting company is TCS. College fails to call any core company for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility in classroom, labs or library. Quality of food served in the mess was below average. The canteen was average. The hostel is also average. Bathrooms are rarely cleaned, and there is always a shortage of water. Despite having small rooms, about 3 students are forced to live in one.
Faculty: About 20% of the teachers were qualified and helpful. Rest of them neither had knowledge nor were helpful. The course curriculum offered was only focused on the completion of assignments, and it is not relevant. Various courses are offered by the college.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to study the core electrical course, and the reputation of college was good. Most of the faculty members only focus on assignments, and none of them is checked or analysed. Labs are good, and it has most of the machines for practicals. Maybe the mindset of faculty members can be changed. Internal and external examinations are conducted only for the sake of formalities. Yearly college fest is organised and it is quite good. College doesn't support extracurricular activities, and it only focuses on attendance. For instance, we were denied leave for preparing for GATE exam.

Really Good Infrastructure, Above Average Placements in 2015.
Placements: The 2015 batch was one of the luckiest batches in terms of the placements as a large no. Of IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Amdocs, Tech Mahindra were doing mass recruitment. Around 70 % of the students were placed during that period and the highest salary was offered by Mu-Sigma ( around 18 Lacs for 3 years ). Top recruiters were TCS and Amdocs. For core branches such as electrical and mechanical very few companies visited the campus and big companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Bosch, etc. Hired only a few students that too through competitions and pool campus drives.
Infrastructure: Medicaps is known for its faculty members and frankly speaking infrastructure wise it is among the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh. A huge library, big playgrounds, gymnasium, spacious classrooms, and good labs are some of the key factors which make this college one of the preferred places to pursue under-graduation. If we talk about the hostel facility, I would give it a rating of 2 out of 5 as per my personal experience. Mess facility was not that good during our time ( not sure about current status ). .
Faculty: If I talk specifically about my branch then yes, faculty members were very helpful. Around 50 % of them had completed their Ph.D. Some faculty members were really knowledgeable, qualified and had exposure to the industry as well. The curriculum was relevant to the industry and many students ended up getting a job in the related industry.
Other: Medicaps has been ranked consistently among the top 5 engineering institutes in Madhya Pradesh. So, it is one of the most sought after colleges in the state. Electrical & Electronics Engineering department is known for its good faculty members and adding to it the peer group was also very competitive. Talking from the perspective of 2015, college can improve on re-structuring the course as some of the subjects were not relevant at all and to date I haven't applied them in real life. Moonstone the annual fest of Medicaps University is very popular in the entire Madhya Pradesh and lots of sports activities keep taking place after a certain duration. The crowd is amazing and one gets the opportunity of interacting with some of the brightest minds of the country. College also provide an ample amount of opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities.

The best private college in Indore.
Placements: The placements of medical college are very good. Many companies visit the college and hire the students. The number of companies that visit the college is good, and the college campus is also very good. I recommend joining this college, and this college works for the betterment of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. The college provides all the facilities. Hindi campus has a canteen, a gym and a library.
Faculty: The faculty members in medical college are good. All the faculty members are friendly. They are very responsive. The course curriculum is very nice, and all the topics are covered in this course. I chose the course wisely, and I can say that the course is very good.
