Yes, the university offers admission based on national and university-based entrance exams. There are some courses which are offered on the basis of merit scores. However, according to MGU Kerala NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements 2024 stood at INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, 26 students out of 38 students were placed during MG University UG 5-year placements 2024.

The basic eligibility criteria that students must fulfil to avail Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students are given below:

• The gross parental/family income of the applicant should not exceed ?4,50,000 per annum.
• For renewal of scholarship in each year of study, besides getting at least 50% marks in the Annual Examination, maintenance of adequate attendance of at least 75%, will also be the criteria.
