Nalanda University, offer Master of Arts courses in different specializations including M.A. in Historical Studies, M.A. in Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, M.A. in Hindu Studies (Sanatana), and M.A. in World Literature. The duration of the course is two years. The total tuition fee for the INR 1.12Lacs (for 2 years).

All Nalanda University MBA graduates found employment in 2022, demonstrating the demand for their skills among businesses. The highest wage that was given was INR 16 LPA, which is a respectable beginning pay. Students were hired by major corporations such as Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum, and they also performed well in summer internships. Following IT (20%), engineering (26%), business development (20%), and operations (20%) accounted for lesser percentages of total graduate employment.

Notable recruiters including Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and GAIL were among the MBA placements that Nalanda University recently completed in 2022. In addition, there were summer internship opportunities offered by Willsmeet Solutions Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., United Nations Global Compact Network India, and Tata Cleantech Capital Ltd. To get admission to the University, students first must have a minimum of 70 percentile in the XAT/MAT/CAT entrance test followed by selection for a Personal Interview. The average CAT score can be considered 198 to 180 for the MBA and the 90+ percentile in any of CAT and MAT can be considered good for admission to the top colleges. 

For MBA 

• For Indian students, a minimum score of 70 percentile in CAT or XAT or MAT is required.
• For international students, a minimum credit score/GPA at Undergraduate level to be 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent GPA or relevant GMAT score
• For Working Executives=Minimum 5 years of working experience, No Objection Certificate is required from employer for working executives/sponsored candidates/ candidates on sabbatical/candidates recommended by PSUs/GOI Departments., CAT/XAT/MAT score will not be applicable.
