They are quite a number of companies offering placements including Microsoft, ibm, amazon, adobe and other * mncs though the amount of students picked is again very few.

Overall review of infrastructure and faculty of Chandigarh University.
Placements: In my course, there is almost 90 percent placement of students. But the main thing is that not everyone gets a good package. Only a few students get good packages. But there are a lot of companies that come to our university, so opportunities are great. Even some of our seniors have achieved a great package in other countries too from our university placement. But the average package is very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very nice. As our department is creative so walls are painted very nicely. Not only our department, infrastructure of the entire university is very elegant. Even some students just take admission because of the infrastructure of the university. Hostel facilities are also nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice and helpful. The teaching method is very good, and all the notes are available on the official website. Teachers are ready to take extra classes for weaker students if they are willing to do so. The only problem is that our teachers teach in English only. This makes it difficult for some students to understand.
Other: Overall, the campus is good, but THE major problem is that we have to walk a lot. we can't even use the transport on campus. The E-rickshaws are also not available for students. Everything else is good.

Good infrastructure and facilities with an industry-oriented curriculum.
Placements: About 40-50 percent of students who wanted placement got placed, as I talked with seniors. The highest package is 8 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. Internships are compulsory so all students would have done them. Roles offered are QA/QC, lab assistant, and research assistant, which are entry-level after the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good with almost all lab equipment, Wi-Fi, and classrooms having projectors but some don't work properly. The library is top tier. College has a big sports campus and provides training for multiple sports like volleyball, badminton, football, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is a D grade or 40 percent. The course is practical-oriented, teaches good laboratory practices, and helps a lot.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in biotechnology and the knowledge of living beings provided here is the best. The course would have been better if it were more lab-oriented than theory. Events, fests, etc., are top-tier in CU.

Placements: Around 70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 17 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Flipkart, etc. Most of us get internship opportunities. The top roles are Data Analytics, Frontend, and Backend Developers, etc.
Infrastructure: Classes are fully ventilated, along with AC and smart classrooms. Library is top-notch. Hostel facilities are also good. It has spacious rooms and 24/7 Wi-Fi. It also has a high-end sports complex with all kinds of equipment and personalized coaches for improvement.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful in nature. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is set in a good manner, focusing on students' overall growth. Semester exams are moderate and according to the curriculum. Most students who revise the topics can easily pass the exam.
Other: I chose it because it is in high demand in today's world. They teach everything accordingly. I also want to improve my communication skills, which they really help me improve. CU is full of next-gen events and organizes the best fests. The campus is a little bit crowded. They provide up to 100% scholarships for deserving candidates.

Honest review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: About 70–75% of students have gotten placements. The average package is like 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.8 LPA, offered by Wipro. Roles that are offered are like Malware Analyst and Information Security Officer, but only for those who have already done an internship and have some professional experience.
Infrastructure: At CU, you get all types of facilities like Wi-Fi in each block, separate labs, and 4–5 libraries in each block. The food quality can be miserable sometimes, but overall it is average. Other than food, everything is outstanding. They also have different hostel tournaments held every 2–3 months.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified, but it does not mean every teacher is that qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, but not like IIT and IIM. For the semester exam, if you study one night before, you can qualify for each subject easily. I think only for core subjects you have to study beforehand, but other than that, you can easily qualify.
Other: I chose this course as I had a keen interest in cybersecurity. When I took admission, there was no separate course for cybersecurity, so that is why I had to choose Information Security. But now they have provided a dedicated course for cybersecurity. Events, fests, etc. are just awesome. You can expect this, as it is a private university.

I summarised all the college pros and cons.
Placements: If we talk about placement at Chandigarh University, we can easily say it is decent here, as the university claims that around 9000 companies, including Adobe and GoDaddy, visit CU every year, which is quite decent. Top package is also above 1 crore per annum, which reflects a good impression of the university.
Infrastructure: Hostel life, we can say is also quite decent as it offers multiple choices for hostels, and accordingly we can select 2, 3, 4, and 5-seater with AC and non-AC facilities. Mess food is also decent here and gives a variety of food dishes, including South Indian food which is also available.
Faculty: Faculty is well educated here. They give support for each difficulty we face. They are supportive of all of us. They give their best to teach the students. Marking is lenient and all the doubts are solved in class. Extracurricular activities are also done.
Other: There are lots of events that are conducted here.

Good placement and internship opportunities but most don't get them.
Placements: The opportunity is provided to everyone. It depends on you if you can grab it. Placement is not as good as NITs or IITs but for a private college its not bad. If you focus on your skills and take part in hackathons and do good internships, you can get good placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Gyms, sports, lifts in hostels, and many other facilities. Wi-Fi is available on campus as well as in the hostel. The campus is really beautiful and well designed. The campus has lifts, and there are a lot of playgrounds. The labs have the latest equipment.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, you have to study by yourself. Some faculty are really good but you have to be lucky to get them and the syllabus is really basic and somewhat outdated, so you have to study by yourself to crack good companies. Same as any other private college.
Other: If you are considering a private college, it's a good option.

Both LPU and CU are well known private universities in Punjab offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The better choice depends on factors such as the course fees campus facilities curriculum exposure location and career opportunities.

For a B.Tech, I would personally choose LPU. In my experience, campus life, exposure, labs, and chances to take part in activities and projects have all been excellent. I believe LPU provides a more comprehensive B.Tech experience overall because there are many clubs and placement chances.

If you're confused between LPU, Amity, Chandigarh University or colleges in MP, I'd suggest comparing the actual CSE curriculum, fees, placements, campus exposure and internship opportunities rather than just the college name. LPU can be a good option if you want a large campus, multiple CSE special

For BTech, the three are not exactly the same, but the core preparation overlaps heavily.
LPU NEST: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics, with English depending on the programme. The syllabus is essentially Class 11–12 PCM level.
