NIIT University PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2026
NIIT University PhD 2026 are available in many specialisations. These include PhD Biotechnology, PhD Computer Science and Engineering, PhD Educational Technology, PhD Electronics & Communication, PhD GIS, PhD Mathematics & Basic Sciences, PhD Management and PhD Humanities & Social Sciences. - A master's degree or professional degree equivalent to a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate marks or grade B in the UGC 7-point scale.

Yes, NIIT University Neemrana has its own entrance exam called NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT). It is a university level exam conducted by NIIT University for admission to its UG level courses. This is a Computer based test conducted for a duration of 50 mins. BTech students are advised to take part in NUAT as the better of the two scores (second being NUAT) will be considered. Students applying for BBA or Integrated MBA courses have to appear for National level entrance exams or in case they dont, NUAT is mandatory for admission.

The NIIT University follows the fee refund guidlines set by the UGC. The refund amount percentages are determined by when the withdrawal notice is received relative to the last date of admission. Almost total amount of the fee can be refunded if the canidate withdraws the admission prior to 15 days from the last date of admission. The security deposit charged from candidates who applied via Early Admission mode (EAD) an amount of INR 5,000 will be deducted by the university from the total sum of INR 20,000.
NIIT University charges INR 60 k as a 'Refundable security deposit' which is to be paid at the time of enrolment. The Security deposit for students intrested in MTech and PhD programmes stands at INR 30 k, which is also to be paid at the time of admission. The Security deposit amount in both cases is totally refunded upon completion of programme. However, in order to attain the full security deposit amount back students must ensure to return books issued from Library, as deductions can be made to the full amount if any book is not returned to the library or any damage is caused to the equipment or infrastructure of the University.
