NIMS Institute of Engineering & Technology BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

NIMS University BTech is a four-year undergraduate degree course that spans eight semesters, offered in full-time mode. Students of Btech at NIMS University has also an opportunity to get direct admission through lateral entry in the second year of BTech courses, such as BTech in Aerospace Engineering (lateral entry), BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (lateral entry), BTech in Data Science and Engineering (lateral entry), and other various courses. The basic eligibility criteria to get admission to the BTech course is candidate must complete Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least an aggregate of 45% for unreserved categories and 40% for reserved categories. For admission to BTech lateral entry at NIMS University, candidates must have completed a three-year diploma with at least an aggregate of 45%. College is overall good and improving day by day.

Placements: I don't have a proper idea of the percentage of placement but it is increasing every year. I have been in this university for the last 2 years as compared to the last 2 years placement has increased but not that much for B.Tech. Many companies like Paytm, TCS, etc., visited the campus.

Infrastructure: Every facility provided by campus is getting improved day by day. There are facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, digital classrooms, library, etc., are available. If we talk about hostel, it is very good. Wi-Fi is good but the food sometimes gets bad. There are many sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games.

Faculty: Faculty are supportive and highly educated but they are strict at the same time. The course syllabus provided by the college is sufficient to make a students industry-ready. Students have to do more research by themselves. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: The highest package is 17 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Justdial, Oyo, Cognizant, TCS, etc. From my course, 4 students got placed in companies like Oyo, TCS, etc. The top roles like data analyst, etc., are offered. In my college, we get a decent package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is full like a cyber hub and classrooms are fully clean and furnished. In each classroom, there are projectors and AC. There is 24x7 Wi-Fi in the college. The hostel is like a 3-star hotel. The food quality is the best. There are separate sections of a sports complex.

Faculty: The full staff members of the college are from IITs and NITs. They have a full experience of above 5 years. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students trained for industrial placements. Exams are of moderate level. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA. In my college, the highest CGPA is 9.97.

Satisfied with the college, its excellent infrastructure, 24/7 open campus, and necessary facilities

Placements: Students with 60% and above can take admissions, and scholarships are available for those who scored above 90 or 95%. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest package is 3-4 LPA, and the average package is 6-7 lakhs, with top companies like Microsoft, Dell, HP, Mahindra, IBM, Oyo, TCS, L&T, Accenture, HCL Tech, and Cognizant recruiting.

Infrastructure: 24/7 open campus, open library, AC libraries, free Wi-Fi in rooms, AC classrooms, smart classes. good hostel mess and food, new hostel rooms with all proper facilities, restaurants and cafes, multiple sports facilities, shops, and shopping malls.

Faculty: Experienced teachers and professors from top institutions like IIT and NITs with very good teaching quality. It provides industrial visits and internship opportunities in the 3rd and 4th years. The difficulty in semester exams varies from moderate to high,and about 85% of students pass the examination.

Other: I want to become a software engineer, so I have chosen this course as it is in demand currently. Leave application and timetable management, various events organized by students and colleges, and sports events are organized every year. The campus location is 40 km away from Jaipur city and is located on the national highway. Scholarships are available according to various requirements.

Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed. The highest package is 60 LPA> The average package ranges from 4.5-10 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Around 65% of students get internships in companies like TCS and Infosys. The top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, full stack developer, and web developer.

Infrastructure: The course has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a good library with books and digital resources. Hostels are clean and secure with shared rooms. The mess provides tasty food with good variety. The canteen offers snacks and refreshments. Medical facilities are available on campus with 24x7 emergency support. For sports, there are grounds and courts for cricket, football, badminton, and a gym for fitness.

NIMS is not a university and it is a world itself.

Placements: 100% of students get placements in top companies like Amazon. Students will get placed in top MNCs like Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, and Adani Group. Students are placed in roles like software engineering, web development, data analytics, etc. It is confirmed that students will definitely get a job after taking admission to NIMS University. Students get placements from college.

Infrastructure: It provides the best facilities like Wi-Fi. Labs are very good. We get the best food in the hostel mess. The food is like our home, with no extra spices or very sweet. Hostels are fully air-conditioned. Every hostel has its lift. Every room is very spacious and fully ventilated. The environment is very good. The library is also very good.

Faculty: It has the best faculty members. It has a tie-up with the Mark Institute Of the Czech Republic Country. Professors and HOD are very supportive. They help us in every situation and guide students to their best future.

Absolutely amazing experience.

Placements: 80-90% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, AirAsia, and ISRO. The roles include maintenance engineer, which provides very technical experience. Most students get internships in my course as well.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in my university are outstanding. The infrastructure is so cool and amazing that everyone likes it. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi available in the hostel, and all facilities are good. The food is also good, and all facilities are excellent. The management is amazing.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified from IITs, and their knowledge is impressive. They provide us with practical hands-on experience through industry visits and gain some knowledge. Exams are not much difficult. If you study well, you will pass.

Yes, BTech (LE) is a three-year course offered in 23 specialisations, namely Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Chemical, etc. The university offers BTech through NIMS Institute of Engineering & Technology at the UG level.

Q. How to get admission to BTech course at NIMS University?

A. Admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main or NIMSEE score. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection at the later stages of admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates.
