2. Selection Process
Nirma University admission to most of the courses is entrance based. Candidates are shortlisted based on entrance exam like CAT for MBA, JEE Main/ GUJCET for BTech, CMAT for MCA and others. For some courses admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Personal interview is conducted for BBA, MBA and other courses. Aspirants also have to appear for Offline Situation Test and PI round after passing UCEED/ NU-DET for admission in BDes programme.
3. Release of selection list
The university releases a merit list with the names of the students selected for the respective course. Candidates with scores equal and above the Nirma University cutoff are called for document verification.
4. Admission Fee Payment
The shortlisted candidates receive admission offer. The university offers seats to candidates under the All India and State Categories. The Government seats in BTech, MCA, BPharm, MPharm is filled via ACPC Counselling. In this case, aspirants have to apply separately for ACPC for seat allotment. Once the seat is allotted, candidates can confirm their seat by paying the Nirma University fees.

Nirma University offers a four-year BTech and an integrated BTech-MBA course. Nirma University MBA application form was released in online mode on Aug 2. The last date to apply for general category and NRI/NRI sponsored category was Jan 19. The university accept CAT exam for admission. Hence, students should stay updated with CAT dates as well. The CAT registrations generally commence in August month of the admission year.

Nirma University Scholarships 2026
Every year Nirma University offers financial support to deserving students in the form of scholarships based on merit, and merit-cum-means studying in various institutes under the University based on the merit of admission. Check below details for Nirma University scholarships:
UG Scholarship: The university offers financial support of up to 100% of the tuition fee to meritorious students in the form of scholarships.
PG Scholarship: Students in MTech and MPharm courses are given scholarships. Students who pass GATE/ GPAT are offered scholarship. Below are the details:
- GPAT qualified students get a monthly stipend of INR 12,400. The monthly stipend for non-GPAT aspirants is INR 8,000.
- A scholarship of IN 12,400 per month is offered to few GATE qualified aspirants. In case of non-availability of GATE candidates, the university offers scholarship of INR 8,000 per month to non-GATE candidates based on written test conducted by Nirma Univesity. Students availing scholarship must undertake eight hours of teaching per week including academic/ administrative work assigned to them.
