NIT Durgapur - A place that always stays with you.

Infrastructure: Campus Wi-Fi is pretty good. Classrooms are well-maintained. The library is one of the most comfortable places to focus and study. The quality of the mess food exceeded expectations. We have a special dinner every Wednesday in Hall-1 during our stay in the final year, and have an even better dinner scheduled monthly.

Review of NIT Durgapur - National Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The 1st year hostel is good and well-maintained. The 2nd-year hostel is good, but not well-maintained. The 3rd and 4th year boys' hostel is just below average with an old infrastructure. The mess serves a variety of food, but of average quality. The food served on the campus is a little costly.

Overall, it has good infrastructure, nice professors, and improving placements each year.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the college. CS labs are good. The new academic building is modern. There is a large library building which has the most modern facilities. 1st year hostel is very good. But from the 2nd to the final year, its quality degrades. There will be 3 people in a single room. Rooms are quite large. For PhD and M.Tech students only, there are single rooms.

The college is good. There is a platform to meet like-minded people and to learn new things.

Infrastructure: The college offers basic facilities like a library, labs, and classrooms, which are good and well-maintained. The hostel is also equipped with all amenities like a basketball court, a volleyball court, a badminton court, and common rooms. The mess food is average but good. 24x7 medical facilities are available. It also has good sports and games facilities.

It has a good infrastructure, but not the best.

Infrastructure: 1st year hostel is good. Mess food is average. Cleanliness is maintained well every day. Classroom, library, and Wi-Fi are available everywhere. The hostel is maintained carefully. Wardens are active participants in helping students in any situation. Sports are not good here.

It is an institute amidst the popular factories.

Infrastructure: The only problem is with washrooms, otherwise everything is fine in the way it is. Mess food tastes good at times, but that's to be expected as it is a government college. The network offered is to be noted. All communities are to be seen here, and diversity is maintained. There is proper and complete security.

Is NIT Durgapur a good college?

Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are okay. I have not faced any issue with college infrastructure except the fact that the Jio network is bad here. Hostels are average. It is averagely clean with average to bad Wi-Fi. Water is always available. But the mess is super bad and unhygienic. It starts well, and by the end of the semester, the food is incredible.

Quick review of NIT Durgapur.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has been limited to 15 Mbps in boy's hostel. Mess food is not good, but it is the same in most NITs. The infrastructure for mechanical is not up to date, as some lab equipment is old. Medical facilities are very good. There is an ambulance around the clock. There is a clinic open from 9 to 12 and from 3 to 6.

It is better than expected.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, as I have experienced so far. The new academic building and hostels are really good and clean. In the hostel, the mess food is good. Water coolers are available here. Bathrooms are cleaned weekly. There are no water or electricity issues. Sometimes, there are Wi-Fi issues that are manageable.

Good college with good peers, good placements, but we need to do hard work as well.

Infrastructure: Till now, I have been residing in the first-year hostel, hall 11, which is very good. It has its own volleyball court, basketball court, and 4 badminton courts. We get good spacious rooms, especially 3 and 4-floor rooms. There are good washrooms as well. The mess food is decent. I have no idea about other hostels, but certainly they are decent enough. Some hostels, like the 2nd year hostel hall 14, look good from the outside. It has badminton courts inside. The library is also good. We get decen...

NIT Durgapur is good for placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in NIT Durgapur. It is very fast in NAB, MAB, the hall, and other areas. The central library of NIT DGP is very good. There are both hard and soft books. Lab facilities are good, but need maintenance. The food quality in our hostel is average. The medical unit is not good for critical classes. The ground is not maintained.

I am satisfied with the college and its campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch. We have 2 playgrounds and IIC. The hostel conditions are much worse. The food at the mess is hardly edible. Recently, in borders of hall 11, snakes have been found roaming in their hostel. Wardens are not very active. There is a medical checkup centre inside the campus, and students visit there to get a free checkup.

It is a good college if students run out of options.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure, such as academic buildings, is good. The hostel infrastructure is somewhat average. There is no proper maintenance of bathroom fittings, and the mess has a shortage of plates. Student's activity centre is not up to NIT standards, and it could be improved a lot.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and also has Wi-Fi connectivity, decent classrooms and well-equipped labs. The central library is a little bit normal and useful, having many kinds of books in it, and also, coming to the rooms and mess facility, it's okay and good enough.

The NAB has a well-structured classroom which can accommodate up to 150-300 students. It contains 3 green boards, a projector, whiteboards, a sound system, and AC. The quality of food is good.
