Rajiv Gandhi law University offers BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course admission based on the CLAT score. The university also conducts entrance exam for admission to PhD and LLD course. The list of courses along with the accepted entrance exams is given below: 

RGNUL provides scholarships to meritorious or financially-weak students. The university offers Foundation for Excellence Scholarship. However, students can also apply for scholarships offered by state or central government. The university is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and UGC (University Grants Commission). The university was accredited with an A Grade by NAAC. The University has established a Legal Aid Clinic under the aegis of the Punjab Legal Services Authority. Hence, no one has even felt regretful studying at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab.

FFE Scholarship of RGNUL rewards academically bright but economically-weak students. The scholarship is open to students fulfiling the below criteria:

• The combined family income of the students should be INR 3 Lacs or less per annum
• Aspirants must pass HSc/ intermediate/ CBSE/ ISC or equivalent not earlier than 2022, 2023 or 2024
• Students currently in the first year of BE/ BTech/ Integrated 5-year Dual degree MTech/ MBBS/ 5-year Integrated Law can avail the scholarship
