NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise CLAT Cutoff Ranks

NLU Ranchi category-wise cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the courses offered at the UG and PG levels. The cutoff was released for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories belonging to the AI and HS quotas. NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

For the students belonging to the General AI category, the overall NLU Ranchi clat cutoff 2025 varied between 1597 and 1760, with LLM having the lowest cutoff rank for admission. It offers an LLM course in multiple specialisations, such as Business Law, Intellectual Property Rights, International Trade Law, Law, Science and Technology and Corporate and Commercial Law. At the UG level, BA LLB (Hons) was the most sought-after course for admission, with CLAT round 1 and last round closing ranks of 1476 and 1667, respectively. NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for OBC All India Category

NLU Ranchi OBC category cutoff 2025 was announced for admission to the BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. For all the LLM specialisations, the CLAT first-round closing rank was 1970, while in the last round, the cutoff rank stood at 2777. For integrated five-year law courses, including BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons), the CLAT last round closing ranks were 3597 and 4096, respectively.

NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for SC All India Category

Compared to the General and OBC categories, the CLAT 2025 cutoff ranks were comparatively lenient for the SC category students for the NLU Ranchi admission to UG and PG courses. In 2025, the CLAT first and last round closing ranks were 9324 and 9902, respectively, for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) programme. As compared to the BA LLB (Hons) cutoff, BBA LLB (Hons.) witnessed less competition, with first and last round closing ranks being 9515 and 11351, respectively. NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for ST All India Category

To view the CLAT first and last round closing ranks for NLU Ranchi, check out the table below. The clat 2025 cutoff for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 13373 in the first round. For the last round, the closing rank stood at 15023. Similarly, for the BBA LLB (Hons) course, the maximum clat cutoff required was 13619. Students with a cutoff below this are eligible for admission, depending on other parameters, such as reservation, seat availability, etc.

At the postgraduate level, the clat maximum required cutoff rank for LLM admission was 4682.

NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for EWS All India Category

For the candidates belonging to the EWS category, the NLU Ranchi BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2025 was 1911 in the first round, while in the last round, the cutoff rank stood at 2551. For admission to the BBA LLB (Hons) programme, the CLAT first round closing rank was 2088, and the last round cutoff rank was 2714.

NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2025 for PWD All India Category

The LLM course of the NLU Ranchi offers six specialisations. The CLAT first and last round cutoff rank for admission was 9663 in the PWD category. NLU Ranchi Category-wise Cutoff 2025 for Home State Quota 

NLU Ranchi cutoff 2025 was also released for the students belonging to the Home State quota. Comparing the General AI category with the HS quota, the clat first and last round cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission in the AI quota. The clat first and last round closing ranks for the BA LLB (Hons) course were 4413 and 5514, respectively, under the Home State quota. For the BBA LLB (Hons) course, the first-round clat cutoff rank was 6105. In the last round, the cutoff rank required for admission was 7271.

For OBC, the clat Round 1 cutoff rank was 5935 for the BA LLB (Hons) course. For admission to the BBA LLB (Hons), the clat required cutoff ranks were 6105 and 7271, in the first and the last rounds.
