Extremely dissatisfied due to the faculty. Bad placements in 2016 and average infrastructure.

Placements: There are very few companies that come for placements. The only two good companies are HCL and TCS. HCL visits to recruit for customer support whereas TCS was actually an off-campus drive. Other companies that came were frauds who cheated the students giving the job offer and then later making excuses and those students never got the job.

Infrastructure: The required equipment is available. The labs in mechanical are quite good with most of the equipment present and in an average condition. The main issue is that the college is situated on the top of a hill so every day you have to trek up and then going back for lunch at the hostel, which is situated at the bottom, is really annoying.

Faculty: HOD and the senior faculty members are good. They have knowledge of the subject but the new junior professors are not very knowledgeable and they teach by bullying the students instead of helping them. THe curriculum is quite light so if the course is completed properly it is easy to cover the topics for the exams.

Other: This college is situated in the outskirts of the town, spread across 350 acres of land. The main advantage is that it’s a deemed university and the university has recently graded A by NAAC. Teaching is average and placements are less as compared to other engineering colleges. But they have nice labs to get the practical knowledge and the attendance is also strict. They give both importance to internals as well as externals. Most of the faculties have got PhD. Fees structure is bit high but they have scholarships.

Best and good college. I got placement in final year 7th sem.

Placements: Good college and placement cell is available here to encourage the job opening available to all candidates in our college. And some MS company also hiring people from our college. Tcs, hcl, toyal enfield, msi automotives, manapuram groups are also hiring.

Infrastructure: Hostel have separate gym for boys and girls ground and every playing equipment is available for students to practice sports. State level, district level competition also organised in our college. Students are taken to other college and district to participate events.

Faculty: Well experienced people are in each and every department and they clear the doubts. Class are taken in English, Tamil and Malayalam based on student request. Well supporting staff and hod. IV are organised each year.

Other: Best environment and natural surrounding. Some time climate will change with in a minute so good cool place and well 500 acres campus.
