My college is satisfying, and good placement, faculty is well knowledgeable
Placements: I went for at least 8 to 9 industrial visit and for 3 to 4 internships. Now many placement came our college and I attended 6 interview till now. Placement officer itself is our department staff. In some some company many students are placed. 70% student got internship.
Infrastructure: Labs are well advanced. Many labs are available for each and every subject with good lab assistants. Sports are conducted and also on sports day so many willing students participate in sports as their wish. The library is good.
Faculty: Faculty are well educated and good behavior staff is present, with knowledge. They will teach you for the right way. The staff is friendly with the students so we can share our ideas easily without fear that is good vibe. The college having best professors in the departments.
Other: The senior student are also friendly and tell us about the college and I studied mechanical engineering and I like this course. I experience practical in my course. I can start a company or own business related to my course .

It is a good college, but teaching is average.
Placements: Students who got placed from our course are very low because they don't have sufficient resources. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. There are no top recruitment companies in our college. Roles are offered to the students based on what we have studied.
Infrastructure: When I joined, everything was good, but after one year, everything is changed. Classrooms are good, and Wi-Fi is also available in the library. Labs are not up to the mark, but they are average. Hostel rooms and facilities are very good, but the food served was not good. Sports and games are good, and we have a good ground and gym.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, and all are well-qualified. They are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also very good. I don't know exactly that the course curriculum is relevant or not because everyone is teaching the same thing. However, students have to make it relevant, so it depends upon every individual.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like it.

Gkm is the best college comparing to other college.
Placements: 1.75% students got placed. 2 highest salary is 14000 & the lowest salary offered 8000. 3. Jcb was the recruiting company. 4. Not sure about the top roles offered. 5. One can enjoy their college days here but studies are not so good. Salary to the faculty is not given properly moreover the college works only till 3.20 pm.
Infrastructure: Every thing is good as well as all the materials that are required for your college/course.
Faculty: Yes, first thing the teacher are eligible to teach every thing they are very well educated and talented to train us. But our management don't provide salary for the staffs on time. This makes them tension, they don't teach properly, few of them are not taking class.
Other: In engineering there is some future jobs for the stream mechanical engineering so that's why I chose the mechanical course. In our department they say as the mother of engineering is mechanical, this inspired me to chose the course. NSS and NCC are good.

It was a below average college with a bad placement records.
Placements: In this current scenario, the placement is like climbing Himalayas, and we cannot say the fault is of the college because industrial peoples have changed as the college placed only a few candidates. In our college, just 5-10% got placed. The Tech Mahindra, CSS Corp, Sutherland were the only companies that came, and only 10-20 candidates got selected. Around 50% of students gone for the internship with their reference only, anyway the college doesn't oppose that. No stipend was provided for the students. Overall, for the placement, internship and the skill development in the college, I will give them only 30 out of 100.
Infrastructure: Our college has a great infrastructure with a really peaceful and silent environment, with a free WI-Fi, projector supported classrooms and a big library. The medical facility is also insufficient. The sports and games are zero with no sports faculty members. There was no canteen while I was studying, but I don't know about now. But the coffee shop and the bakery is good enough. So, for the infrastructure and other facilities, I give 80 for 100.
Faculty: While I was studying, our department nearly had 7 lecturers, who were doctorate, but in my final year, the hod itself didn't complete his doctorate and didn't do any favour to the students, and he just came and went. Only a few got an industrial exposure. Some of the staff has good practical teaching methods. The students to faculty ratio was 60:1, so it can be manageable. So, for the faculty and course curriculum, I give 60 for 100.

    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

TNEA cutoff scores for GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET) vary according to the engineering stream and application category. For example, in previous years, high-demand subjects such as computer Science and electronics required higher cutoff scores, ranging from 170 to 180 in the general category. However, some areas, such as civil engineering and mechanical engineering, may have slightly lower cutoffs. These figures are also influenced by the amount of applications received and the general TNEA admission patterns for the year.
