Decent placements and affordable fees.
Placements: NBU placement cell facilitates jobs in companies like TCS, Cognizant, and HDFC Bank, with a 40-60% placement rate. Placement support is stronger for professional courses like MBA AND BCA but limited for traditional courses like B.Sc. WITH some BCA roles reaching INR 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: NBU 330 ACRES campus features modern classrooms, a well stocked library with 2,23,208 books, and advanced labs for Science and technology. Facilities include wi-fi, a computer center, sports complexes, and auditoriums, though some areas need better maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty are qualified, approachable, and use interactive methods like smart boards and research oriented teaching. They guide students in academics and research, but some departments lack industry exposure or consistent engagement. Support for practical training and projects is strong.
Other: The events were very good.

Campus Life at North Bengal University is above average.
Placements: There were a total of 3692 students who applied for the B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) course in the year 2021 (the year in which I joined), and only 96 students were able to get admission based on their Class 12th percentage. There are no on-campus placements as of now. The roles can vary, such as solicitor, judicial magistrate, private legal advisor, etc.
Infrastructure: There are every basic amenities in our college, be it Library, Computer Lab, Auditorium, except a canteen for our department. Wi-Fi is available for research scholars only. Separate washrooms and hostels for girls and boys, which are maintained on a regular basis.
Faculty: The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:10, which is great in my opinion. The teachers are easily approachable regarding doubts in lecture or if you were to publish any journal. The course curriculum is industry-ready and prepares you for real-life circumstances. Semester exams are moderately hard. The highest CGPA per semester is 7.5 as of now in my class.

It was best time of my life. Faculty was good, and placement was fine. I hope they can do better.
Placements: About 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package was Rs.8,500 per semester, and the lowest was Rs.6,540 per semester. Tata, Bajaj, and many small companies were recruiting students from our batch. 60% got internships according to academic performance, manager, teacher, or lecturer.
Infrastructure: The dorms weren't dirty, and the living conditions were comfortable. Many students were kept in the same room, about 8 in one room. The food was bad, and the canteen was dirty. Many got sick due to food poisoning. We had to order food so we can eat proper food. We complained, but the warden didn't do anything to improve the condition.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and cooperative. They helped us in many ways, like extra classes and assignments. They were extra cautious on exam days and guided us properly. Some were rude, but most of them were fine. Exams were hard. We had to write a lot and still got low marks. We had to write three pages on both sides, making it six for one question. Exams were hard.
Other: I chose this course to further pursue my dream, and it helped me a lot as I wanted to become a lawyer. I learned a lot, and now I'm practicing in the session court in my town. Times were hard, but I am managing.

Yes you can get admission in 5-year LLB program but all depends on your score in 12th standard, if it is below 45 percent then you can't.
