One of the best overall colleges in the mountains.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Professors are helpful as well as well-qualified in their respective departments. The college does make students industry-ready by encouraging the teaching of extra subjects that prepare students to face the real world. Exams depend on the student. If a student attends classes regularly and is attentive in lectures, he or she will pass easily.

All about my experience in Mathabhanga College.

Faculty: The professors are very qualified and helpful, they always encourage us. They teach us very kindly. If anyone is having problems understanding any of lessons, they repeat the lessons. Exams are not so difficult for those students who read regularly, but it's difficult for those who don't read. Pass percentage of the exam is 40%. The professor in my department is very friendly. They behave like friends.

Very good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are good. Syllabus of B.Sc. Computer Science is almost the same as BCA. Semester exams are not so hard. I just need to study. Results are given in SGPA, and if you get a 3.5, then you are good to go otherwise, you need to give the exam again next year.

Decent placements and affordable fees.

Faculty: Faculty are qualified, approachable, and use interactive methods like smart boards and research oriented teaching. They guide students in academics and research, but some departments lack industry exposure or consistent engagement. Support for practical training and projects is strong.

Affordable education with supportive faculty, needs more practical exposure and events.

Faculty: Teachers at Islampur College are helpful, qualified, and have good subject knowledge. Teaching quality is decent, with a focus on theory. The curriculum is mostly relevant but lacks strong industry exposure. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is around 80-85% on average.

It is an average college with room for improvement.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college are genuinely passionate and well qualified in their respective fields. They go away on their way to help students in their academic and personal growth. The course curriculum is moderate and lacks focus on industry exposure. However, it covers all concepts and includes elective subjects in the lower semesters. Examinations are fairly good. Recently, the examination board was changed, and it is quite difficult, but it is more helpful for students. Internal and pra...

It is a nice college, you should also join.

Faculty: Government colleges like Siliguri College and Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya have experienced and well-qualified professors, but sometimes lack industry exposure or updated methods. Private colleges like Inspiria or SIT focus more on industry-integrated teaching, with guest lectures and skill workshops. Faculty in commerce and management streams are generally supportive and approachable.

Mostly yes, I am satisfied.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful. I won't say all, because each person is different, some may be rude and arrogant, but most of them are helpful, well spoken, and seem well-educated too. The provided courses are helpful in building students' futures. The semester exams are quite tough, as they come from the NBU.

CIS means no job, freedom, and loss.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful, and their behavior is rough. The teaching quality of some teachers is very bad, and it does not make students industry-ready. The exams at the Center for Innovative Studies are very difficult, with a 70% pass percentage. They do not give us a study break before exams.

Faculty: Teachers were very good with strong communication skills and empathy. The curriculum was more industry-response and gave students employment-ready skills and upbeat work ethics. Semester exams were quite hard but you need to work hard. Minimum 33% was the pass percentage on each paper.

Memorable days in college.

Faculty: Brilliant professors and faculty members in our college where you won't regret studying. Every 6 months, the exams are held for semester exams. The head of the exams is the NBU North Bengal University which is located in Siliguri. Some practical exams are also there at NBU. The professors are brilliant and talented.

It is the worst government college in Siliguri.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is overall good. The course curriculum is relevant only for the basic degree. We will not get any placement or upscale our skills for industry demand to get a job. Exams are quite difficult. We have to study hard and we have to score a minimum of 34% to qualify for exams.
