It is a NAAC 'A' grade state-level University established by the Government of Haryana by Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak Act, 2008. There are five incorporated colleges under the University that offer courses in Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.
