Yes, Punjab University does offer Scholarships for ST/SC category. The scholarship are offered keeping the following criteria in consideration:
- Those Students belonging to OBCs so specified in relation to the state/Union Terrritory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. is permanently settled, who have passed the Matriculation
- Students who have secured minimum 50% or equivalent grade
- Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and special grants to girls belonging to Scheduled Castes.
According to media reports, the the highest and average package offered during Panjab University UIET (BTech and MTech) placements 2023 stood at INR 45 LPA and INR 8.89 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 383 offers were made during PU UIET placements 2023.
