Good college experience with decent placements, supportive faculty, and average campus facilities.

Placements: Around 75-80% students were placed from our course this year. The salary packages offered were decent, with an average package of around 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Around 55-60% students also got internships in IT companies and startups. Main roles offered were Software Developer, Data Analyst, QA Tester, and Business Analyst.

Infrastructure: Our department has good facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, and a library. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained for practical and theory sessions. Hostel facilities are decent, food quality in the mess/canteen is average, and basic medical and sports facilities are available on campus.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and had good knowledge of their subjects. Teaching quality was decent, and most faculty members were supportive during exams and practicals. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally good for regular students.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the IT field and wanted better career opportunities in the future. I feel that more practical training could be improved. College events, fests, and extracurricular activities are good, the campus crowd is friendly, and connectivity around the campus is also convenient.

Overall experience in Parul.

Placements: The maximum number of students placed in the same course. I don't have numbers, but the average would be 5-6. Campemini, Infosys recruit. Many get internships at the campus only, while some can explore on their own. BDA, IT Staffing, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, and AI roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good with all computer labs, classrooms are good, new ones are best, and the library is awesome. Mess food is average, and sometimes below average. The canteen is the best, medical facilities are good, sports needs more attention at this time, everything is going on the computer, getting some fresh up should be prioritised.

Faculty: We have good faculty, behave well, and get treated well. The course curriculum is industry-ready if you do it on your own or get help from the faculty members. The best faculty members were in our second and last year. Teachers' quality in every subject course was good enough to get through our heads. There are many relevant courses and extra courses to explore different departments of the college. Semester exams are tough, but you can get help through the learning provided by the college. All materials are available.

Other: I chose it because I was not able to do B.Tech, as I am a bio student, passed out in 12th. The best thing would be exploring all courses and hackathons as much as a B.Tech student, just remove Physics and high-level Maths. I won't say something will do it better, but AI should be included in every course, even if mine was full-stack, there should be AI courses too.

Good infrastructure, vibrant campus life, & decent placements with scope for growth.

Placements: Currently, I am (2022-2026 batch) pursuing my integrated MCA (IMCA) with full-stack web development specialisation from Parul University. The course aims to provide a theoretical and practical exposure to students so they can gain strong programming skills, web development skills, etc. To build a career in the IT industry.

Infrastructure: As for the infrastructure of my course at Parul University it is pretty much good as it has well-assembled computer labs, strong Wi-Fi connections, smart classrooms along with a library to support studies and research. The hostel is good and average food is available in the mess. It also offers medical facilities in case of an emergency and decent sports for both academic and personal development.

Faculty: Although teaching quality is just above average. The faculty is supportive, competent, and knowledgeable. The learner should be fully prepared to enter the industry, while things thought are good with a lot of content. If you study regularly then the semester exams are of an average difficulty level and the pass percentage is also high.

Other: As I have an interest in web development and good career scope in IT, I took this course. The most interesting part is learning practically and new technology-oriented. Placement and industry-level training can be better. Campus life is good and students organize many events & fests. The crowd is quite diverse. On the whole, the environment is great and contributes to one's personal and professional development.

Parul University BCA Eligibility & Highlights 2025

Parul University offers a three-year full-time BCA programme at the UG level. Parul University BCA admission is merit-based. Students' performance will be evaluated based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam. Apart from this, candidates can also enroll in a five-year integrated MCA course at Parul University. Parul University offers the BCA and Integrated MCA (I-MCA) courses across the same 12 specialisations. The university has introduced three additional I-MCA courses, which are valid from the academic year 2022-23 onwards. These are Integrated MCA (Microsoft), Integrated MCA (Oracle) and Integrated MCA (SAP). Admissions are open for these courses for limited seats only, candidates seeking admission can apply online on University's official website.

Parul University is where dreams come true and turn into reality.

Placements: As I have seen from the states and heard from the respective faculty members, around 85% of students get placed. Several companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. Among them, a few students also get placed at startups. It is a good thing because students can learn more from startups.

Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, but sometimes there are Wi-Fi issues. Overall, everything is well-maintained. One thing I would suggest to the college is to provide GPU-centric computers in every lab instead of having them in only one lab. Apart from that, the hostels are good. The maintenance staff also visit regularly from time to time.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but I suggest the college provide them with training for more relevant and updated courses and syllabus content. Apart from theory, there should be a stronger focus on practical learning. Also, similar to the classroom approach followed in countries like China. Faculty members should make students familiar with VS Code and modern IDEs instead of using outdated compilers like Turbo C for the C language in the first semester. Topics like AI/ML, Hugging Face, and Agentic AI should also be introduced because AI agents are the future.

Other: To improve this course, practical learning should be given more importance than only theory. Theory is also important, but practical knowledge teaches students much more. College should provide students with projects to work on because once students start working on a project, there is no other option left except to learn and complete it. This will help students improve mindset and skills to reach their goals.

College infrastructure is good, and there are many opportunities for students.

Placements: I have no plan to sit in the placement and I don't want to go for corporate, so I am not sitting in the placement. So I have no idea about the placement. But some students go for internship from our department and they are doing good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing, both of college and hostel. Only one problem in my hostel is mobile network is not working. If this problem can be solved, it will be very good for everyone. In hostel, authorities can place one water cooler on every floor, it can be better.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams of our course are good. When we have any doubt, and we reach out to faculty, they help us to solve our problem, and the course curriculum is also good, it provides us good knowledge. Also, it is helpful to us in our lives.

Placements: The placements are average here, but this year the placements are too good, whether it's Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, Bank of America, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels are nice and clean, with a cleaning facility available. Laundry service is also available. Staff come and collect your laundry room number, wise. Mess food is average, not too bad. Wardens are evil, though. Security is very tight here by 9:30. Anyhow, you have to be inside your hostels (except on the days when they show a movie on campus). They allow only 2 gatepasses in a month to girls. The infrastructure of classes and labs is amazing, with digital boards, well-equipped labs, smart boards, etc.

Faculty: According to me, the faculty members are really nice in my department (IT & Computer Science). They are helpful and cooperative, though some staff really throw attitude towards you, but again, the numbers are less, only a few are like this. The semester exams are not too difficult, they are manageable. The faculty members are very nice, most of them are PhD holders. And the IT and Computer Science department is always active.

Other: They arrange hackathons, activities, and events on a regular basis.

Infrastructure is good, but in terms of academics, they can make great changes.

Placements: The highest MBA package goes around 6 LPA, and the average package is close to 3 LPA. The placement is done for CS students in the following order. They prefer B.Tech students first, then MCA students, and if vacancies remain, they choose BCA students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with a lot of food courts and parks. Labs are nice. The hostel food reminds you that it is hostel food, so don’t have very high expectations. There are different canteens and a variety of food types, each with a unique flavour.

Faculty: Questions are AI-generated for exams, which makes us familiar with new patterns. They have also introduced AI as a subject to gain better knowledge of AI and AI-based new tools. Students have to give weekly online tests for better understanding of the subjects.

Other: Events are good, but the course can improve.
