STEP 1: Periyar University Application Process 2025

Candidates must fill an online application form with all the relevant details along with paying an application fee and submit the form at the Head Office of Periyar University.

STEP 2: Periyar University Entrance Exam

There are different schools and departments in the university through which the courses are offered. Each department conducts an entrance test for UG/PG course admission. Candidates seeking admission have to appear for the test and score good marks to be eligible to take admission.

STEP 3: Selection Rounds

STEP 4: Payment of Admission Fee & Admission Confirmation

I am very satisfied, because the highest salary package is provided.
Placements: In my course, 95% of students are placed. 29LPA is the highest salary package offered, 6LPA is the average salary package offered, and 3.8LPA is the lowest salary package offered. TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Colan Tech, Zoho, Dxc Technology, its all top recruiting companies, 90% of students got internship, mostly fresher roles are offered.
Infrastructure: More than 100000 books are currently in my college library. In every single classroom, having a separate projector is very useful for easy learning. The hostel food is very hygienic. Weekly thrice non veg is provided. The college bus is free for all day scholars.
Faculty: Faculty are always friendly in class time, and they are very helpful for placement. Yearly, once in college, the industrial visit is arranged. Monthly, I also have short industrial visits at my college, which is very useful for my career. The pass percentage is 95%. Always, the Semester exam is easy, except for the problematic paper.
Other: I am interested in coding, and I also did this course. I need to develop Java programming. Yearly, once onam, Diwali, Ayutha Pooja, Annual day, Pongal are celebrated in my college.

The best college in the Salem district, which is very safe and secure for women.
Placements: Our college has the best placement. We are currently attending drives from top companies. Also, we had an excellent placement coaching. They give additional coaching for our placements. This is very helpful for us to be placed in a good and reputable company.
Infrastructure: Our college has more labs, Wi-Fi facilities, sports center, libraries, and a clean and neat canteen. The college environment is pleasant and clean, which gives us space. It has a smart class like a projector class and more than three seminar halls.
Faculty: The professors are well-educated and supportive of us. The way of teaching is very good. Also, they have additional teaching methods like a projector class and debate. We have a lot of additional courses to complete with certification, which is very helpful to be placed in good companies.

My college is good for my career.
Placements: Last year, more than 90 % of students got placed in highly reputed companies. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Mahendra, and Ashok Leyland. More than 70% of students got internships from the company. Top roles are designer, manufacturing sectors.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our hostel. Hostel food is good and hygienic. Wi-Fi is available. The library is available from 9am to 9 pm. The swimming pool is available for hostel students. Medical facilities are available at any emergency inside our college.
Faculty: Teachers' teaching quality is very good and understandable. The course is fully relevant to the curriculum. The semester exams are not difficult to get the pass mark. The pass percentage is 50% in every semester. Every year, we make an industrial visit outside Tamil Nadu.

Placements: AET does have a dedicated placement cell that offers training in communication, aptitude, group discussions, and supports both internships and campus recruitment. However, specific details like placement rates, salary packages, top recruiters, or internship roles remain undisclosed publicly. I am a 2023 passout.
Infrastructure: A. E. T. Arts & Science College, Salem offers a well-equipped campus with facilities that support both academic and extracurricular activities. The college provides campus-wide Wi-Fi, two dedicated computer centers, two to three laboratories, and a well-stocked library for students' learning needs. Common spaces such as an auditorium, conference hall, and common rooms are available for academic programs and cultural events, while a sports complex and multiple playgrounds encourage physical activities. The campus also houses a cafeteria, a guest house, and a health center that offers basic medical support. Hostel facilities are available, including a girls' hostel with around 250 beds.

College is good and it has good value for money.
Placements: Campus interview is conducted in the university by the Government of Tamil Nadu. At least 90% of students were placed in the campus interview. Almost all students got internships in industries, hospitals, and government buildings like the VAO office and the SP office.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but there is no availability of Wi-Fi on the campus. The library is good and has separate libraries for each department, as well as a large common library. The college has four hostels, two for boys and two for girls. The food is not very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well knowledgeable about their subjects. The quality of the teachers is okay. Teachers are well qualified with doctorate degrees. The course makes the students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 35 out of 100. The exam is not very tough.

I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: Students with a minimum of 75% marks in their class 12th exams only can get admission. The highest paying job offered is 45 LPA, the lowest paying job offered is 3 LPA, and the average income job offered is 7-8 LPA. Students with a 7.5 CGPA get internships easily.
Infrastructure: There are air-conditioned classrooms available for all courses. The infrastructure of the college is fabulous. The quality of the hostels is excellent. They are very clean and have many plants. The mess food is delicious and also hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and help us with every question that we ask. The teaching quality of every teacher is very good and fabulous. I chose BCA, and yes, this course is very much relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite tough.
Other: I chose this course because there is a future in it.
