The BSc curriculum includes topics such as applied biochemistry, applied nutrition and dietetics, applied anatomy, applied physiology, applied psychology, applied sociology, First aid manual, Forensic nursing, and Indian Laws and nursing subjects, etc. Admission to the BSc Nursing course is subject to a valid score in the PESSAT exam. However, before applying for the exam candidates must have a valid qualification, which requires applicant to have a minimum age of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. At PES University, the minimum eligibility varies with courses. However, the common eligibility for UG programmes is passing Class 12 with atleast 50 % of aggregate marks. For PG programmes at the university, the minimum eligibility is Bachelor's degree with atleast 50% of aggregate marks in the relevant stream. The sleection criteria for both the programmes is entrance based.
