PESSAT Syllabus 2024 has been released by PES University. Candidates can check here the PESSAT 2024 syllabus to learn details about the subjects and topics that will be asked in the exam. As per the syllabus released by the university, questions in the exam will be prepared from the CBSE classes 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.  

Candidates must note that they need to prepare for the PESSAT 2024 only using the prescribed syllabus. It is advised that students follow NCERT textbooks of classes 11 and 12 for the said subjects to prepare for PESSAT 2024. Candidates are provided here the complete subject-wise syllabus of PESSAT 2024 which they need to give to secure admission at PES University

PESSAT 2024 Syllabus

Section 1:

The first section in PESSAT 2024 for all the aspirants contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The questions in the entrance exam paper would be from the CBSE syllabus in Class 11 and Class 12. To explain further about the PESSAT test paper:

  • 30% of the questions will be from the Class 11 CBSE syllabus.
  • 70 % of the questions will be from the Class 12 CBSE syllabus.

Section 2:

The second section in PESSAT 2024 would test the aptitude of candidates in English grammar. This section will contain 20 questions. Candidates should note that there is a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.
