PES University offers a PhD course in various specialisations across four streams, namely, Commerce & Management, Science, Computer Applications and Pharmacy. This course is offered in a full-time mode. Admission to PhD at PES University is based on a specific selection process that consists of two steps. The first step is to qualify for either of the GRE / CAT / GATE / UGC NET / CSIR-NET entrance tests and the second step is to clear the interview round. Apart from that, the University also provides a research programme in MTech.

PES University has all the qaulities of a tier 1 university. PES University is located in Bangalore and is a UGC-recognised university. It has also been accredited by the NAAC with grade A+. The university has good placements and scholarships.

Registration for PES Entrance Process opens in the September every year. The last date to register online is not given on the official website. Students must keep on visiting the official website for updated details.

BTech is one of the most popular courses of PES University in terms of placements. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released. The overall the highest package secured by the students of the batch 2025 stood at INR 68 LPA. Over 350 companies participated during PES University placement
