No, PES university admissions are entrance based with the university accepting only PESSAT scores for UG and PG courses. The University has disclosed the highest salary for the 2025 passing out batch. The PES University highest package for 2025 placements was INR 68 LPA. Additionally, over 1,500 placement offers were made during the drive. 

PES University admits students into its UG and PG programmes on the basis of PESSAT score. PESSAT is the inhouse entrance exam conducted by PES University. Candidates must check their eligibility before regoistering for the same.

At PES University, the minimum eligibility varies with courses. However, the common eligibility for UG programmes is passing Class 12 with atleast 50 % of aggregate marks. For PG programmes at the university, the minimum eligibility is Bachelor's degree with atleast 50% of aggregate marks in the relevant stream. The sleection criteria for both the programmes is entrance based.
