PRIST University has a good placement record. According to reports more than 80% of students get placed every year. Wipro, Capgemini, Mahindra, TCS, and Sunpharma were the top recruiters who participated in the placement drives. The university has a separate Training Placement cell which provides students help to secure job opportunities. PRIST University is a Tier 2 college. It is one of the top universities in Tamil Nadu offering B.Tech. The courses are somewhat more expensive than other universities. B.Tech program is the best course offered by PRIST University as it got 81 students placed which were maximum in this field followed by PG courses students. At PRIST University, getting into their B.Tech program doesn't always mean you have to tackle the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam hoop. Instead, you've got a couple of avenues to explore. 

You can opt to take JEE Mains. The university accepts JEE scores and Rankings. 

If you are not interested in JEE,  PRIST has its Entrance Exam which is PEE. 

In any condition any of the above tests are necessary. Without entrance, you cannot join B.Tech.

As per Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology Engineering and Management NIRF reports 2024, the median package offered during BTech and MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 4.34 LPA and INR 4 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 48 students were placed and 4 students opted for higher studies out of total 59 students during MBA placements 2023.
