You will find good connections and people. The college life will be a lot of fun.
Placements: About 50-60 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 20-25 LPA, the lowest is unplaced 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Top-tier companies come to the college, like JPMorgan, Tata, and all. Internships are fewer but feasible, and to the same companies as placements, but I have no idea about the roles.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not so good. There is Wi-Fi, but sometimes it does not connect properly. Classrooms don't have mics, and sometimes the AC does not work. The Wi-Fi range is also limited. The library is fine, hostel conditions are very bad, and food is expensive and compulsory. The hostel room conditions are bad, and there is very little room space. Almost all the sports equipment is broken.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, just as it is in colleges. They do their job and go, although some teachers actually care about students, but some are just trying to give students a hard time. The course curriculum is old, and doesn't go with current industry standards.

Overall, the college is okay, but there are too many quotas here.
Placements: Placements are better than NITs of the same region, such as NIT Kurukshetra. They are also comparable to NIT Jalandhar and Hamirpur. The average package is around 12–13 LPA for Electrical Engineering and 20+ LPA this year for CSE. Meesho offers a package of 57 LPA, and Apple also visits the campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is poor. I recommend taking a PG as it will cost the same. The hostel infrastructure is bad; if you get C block, you are lucky, otherwise you are not. The college infrastructure is old. Overall, the campus is good, but the buildings are old. There are many places to visit near the campus in Chandigarh.
Faculty: The attendance criteria affect grades a lot. Less than 75 percent but more than 60 percent leads to a one-grade drop. Less than 60 percent but more than 50 percent lowers your grade by two grades. If attendance is below 50 percent, you have to repeat your course, and hostelers have to leave their hostel. This system starts in the year 2025.

Hostel, campus life at PEC Chandigarh.
Placements: Civil placements are decent, but people usually go for higher studies like M.Teach, so placement percentage is low, about 30–40%. The highest package is 18 LPA, average 13 LPA, median 13 LPA. Top recruiters are Reliance, L&T, JP Morgan, EY. Chief engineers and various executive roles have been offered.
Infrastructure: Decent hostels for freshmen and further upgradation in accommodation in succeeding years. Air-conditioned lecture halls for freshmen, Wi-Fi is available across campus, and the labs are also well-equipped, all the major sports are available, and competitions are held regularly. Dispensary is also there in the PEC market.
Faculty: Well-qualified faculty and relevant core curriculum is taught. Difficult exams and average passing percentage. The curriculum seems relevant, and practical work is also highly emphasized. Exams are fairly difficult but not punishing, and 70–80% people pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course as I am brought up in a family of builders. The faculty could have been better. The college hosts top-notch events and provides a lot of exposure.

My college is the best in India.
Placements: Placements are comparable to many top NITs. Placements are kind of nice compared to the rank you can get here. Almost 80% of students get placed in this college. Top recruiters like JP Morgan, Samsung, Apple, Google, etc., come for placement. An electronics engineer is a role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are various electronics engineering laboratories that are fully Wi-Fi and air-conditioned and have access to it. There are various hostels in PEC for boys and girls. Food is kind of good, and the rooms are okayish. There is a dispensary in the PEC market for medical purposes. There are various grounds in college, like athletics, football, basketball, and cricket grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified from various top colleges like NITs, IITs, and many foreign universities. The curriculum is relevant apart from some old courses, such as ed. There is no difficulty in passing the exam, and students can pass the exam by studying one week before the exam.
Other: Due to my passion for electronics, I chose this course. PEC organizes PEC fest every year, which is one of the biggest fests in North India. There are also many other fests organized, including startup fair, summit, trivium, etc.

Good faculty, average infrastructure, placement is between average and below average.
Placements: 36% of students got placed. The highest package is 19.06 LPA, with an average of 11.56 LPA. Top recruiters are JSW Steel, ZS Associate, and JP Morgan. Metallurgy students often move towards analytics, consulting, and research fields. If you are from the core branches, then you have to focus on other skills, which will be helpful.
Infrastructure: The MME department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms with Wi-Fi, and access to central libraries with external resources. Hostels with decent rooms with Wi-Fi, a common room with 24/7 water and electricity. Mess food is average but hygienic, with an additional canteen option.
Faculty: The faculty of the MME department are highly qualified, Ph.D. holders with huge research experience and are approachable for research and project guidance. The curriculum is relevant, covering core metallurgy topics. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 90%.
