An admission test is conducted for MA Human Rights and Human Development and Mass Communication & Videography as per an unofficial source.

STEP 3: After completion of the selection rounds, selected aspirants need to come for document verification. They need to report at the university with all the specified documents. Once the verification is done, aspirants are required to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

The curriculum for BA (History) at RBU is based on the Choice-Based Credit Scheme and follows a semester pattern. In each semester, students have to study a mix of core and elective subjects. Some core and elective subjects included in the course curriculum are presented in the table below:

The mode of education at Rabindra Bharati University is full-time. It also has a Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) through which students can pursue MA and MFA programmes in distance learning mode. Admission to CDOE is on first-come-first-serve-basis.
