No, admission to RGPV at MBA is not possible without qualifying the entrance exam. Candidates who are willing for admission to MBA course must qualify for CMAT entrance exam with a valid score. This is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to eligible candidates in Management courses. Candidates who will secure a valid score in CMAT will be able to apply for the counselling process and secure seat at RGPV.

In order to get admission to MBA at RGPV students must fulfil minimum eligibility criteria. The selection criteria for this course consist of three major steps. Find them below:

Eligibility: Students must pass Class 12 and graduate in any stream with minimum 50% total to be eligible for this course
Entrance Exam: Students are required to qualify for CMAT exam with a valid score
Counselling Process: After qualifying for entrance exam students must appear for DTE MP counselling process.

To apply for course via DTE MP counselling process, candidates are required to visit the official website of the respective counselling body and fill an online application form. Along with that, candidates must upload a set of documents in the prescribed format. Find the list of important documents below:

Essential documents include Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation certificates, a valid CMAT scorecard, and a passport-size photograph. MP domicile and category certificates (SC/ST/OBC) if applicable.

For the RGPV MBA admission, an application fee of INR 120 is required to process the registration. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid through online payment gateway.

The University Teaching Department (UTD) offers 60 seats for core MBA. These seats are highly competitive and are filled through centralized DTE MP counselling process based on CMAT merit.

While the main campus has limited seats, total intake across all RGPV-affiliated institutions in Madhya Pradesh is around 2760 for MBA program. Exact numbers vary by college and specialization.

After qualifying CMAT, participate in DTE MP Counselling. This involves online choice filling, where you select the preferred colleges. If allotted a seat, visit designated centre for document verification.

RGPV admission to most of the courses is primarily entrance-based. However, the university does offer a few courses, admission to which is completely merit-based. Hence, candidates can certainly get admission to RGPV courses without an entrance exam, given that they are seeking admissions to programmes with the merit-based selection.
