Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is a government college. RGPV was established in 1988 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. RGPV Bhopal is recognised by UGC and accredited with an A grade by NAAC. RGPV offers over 50 courses at the Diploma, UG, PG and PhD levels in various streams, such as Management, Science, Engineering and Pharmacy. The courses are offered under 8 departments at the university. Out of all the courses, the University is popularly known for BTech, MBA, BDes and Diploma programmes.

RGPV is a state technological university located in Madhya Pradesh. The university offers more than top 20 specialisations in BTech, whereas DAVV offers 15+ specialisations. The total seat intake for BTech is much greater in RGPV, which is 55,980 (inclusive the seat intake of all affiliated colleges), whereas a total of 780 seats are available at DAVV for BTech course. As per the placement records of the year, the Median package at RGPV stood at INR 3.50 LPA and for DAVV, it stood at NR 6 LPA. Candidates can choose among both the university based on the location, placements and the seats available in their desired course.

Yes, there is an MBA course at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The MBA course is offered via the School of Applied Management. The PG-level course lasts for two years and is offered in a full-time mode. The RGPV follows a credit-based grading system of assessment for its MBA curriculum. To secure admission to the MBA course, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by counselling rounds. Candidates must apply for the CMAT exam for RGPV MBA admission. Further, applicants must participate in the DTE MP Counselling to get shortlisted for the MBA course. However, before applying candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.

RGPV M.Tech admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), conducted by IIT Kanpur.

The RGPV BTech admission 2023 is entirely based on JEE Main scores. The entrance exam for the current year has been conducted. Further, as per the last schedule released on the official website of DTE MP, the two rounds of the counselling process for BTech have already been conducted by the counselling body. However, the online registrations are ongoing for the vacant seats. Eligible candidates can apply for the counselling till Sep 9, 2023. Further, the counselling will be conducted between Sep 10 to Sep 15, 2023.
