B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by St. Aloysius Institute of Technology (SAIT JBP)

An amazing college to take admission.
Placements: The highest package is 75 LPA in Dubai, and the average package is 7 LPA. At every branch, the students get a job. Recently, a boy and a girl from the mechanical engineering department got placed at an esteemed company. Most important thing is to be having any skill to be fitted to the job.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure with wholly Wi-Fi campus and nice facilities. The outlook of infrastructure is damn amazing, while the facility helps to grow ourselves in a much better way, the labs are very well-equipped. Even the CSE lab is newly equipped with new computers.
Faculty: Good faculty with high experience, and even from abroad, with an amazing way of teaching. Being in this college, I knew that one of our teachers came from an IT background from the US, but of Indian origin, and another mechanical department HOD came from Russia, also with his research.

I am dissatisfied with the management.
Placements: 70 percent of students get placed. Overall, various companies come and leave without hiring a single student due to a lack of skills and ability. The highest package is 23 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Internships are provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and Wi-Fi is available. Labs and classrooms are okay but need some improvements. The hostel is good with average facilities. There is a well-maintained library, and the sports complex is also good, with some games and a gym.
Faculty: The semester exams are very easy, and students can pass them easily. The pass percentage is 70% across all branches. The course curriculum is not relevant. Teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality is average.

Good faculty with good teaching.
Placements: The previous placement record was not very good. Only 20% of students get high-paying jobs, and 60% get average-salary jobs. Overall placement is 80%. The highest package for previous batches is 13 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. Most recruiting companies are local.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, not too bad. There is a well-stocked library, which is average. The hostel quality is okay, and the food is great. There is good greenery around the campus. Sports and games facilities are available. The sports complex and gym are also present.
Faculty: Teachers are sometimes very rude and sometimes very cool. Overall, they are good, helpful, and, providing a good teaching experience. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students need to learn skills from outside. The semester exams are very easy to pass, and 75% of students pass.
Other: There is a reservation system, and DRCC is also available. Extracurricular activities are slightly less in previous semesters.

Good placements in the year 2020.
Placements: The top role offered in my course is at Wipro. The package is 23 LPA, which is the highest of all time. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Internship opportunities are provided. They visits to internship centers are conducted from time to time.
Infrastructure: Facilities in my department are good but need some improvement in practicals and labs. Lecture classrooms are clean and good in size for 50–60 students. The mess food is good, and overall facilities are average. Canteen food is not trustworthy. Once I found a caterpillar in poha.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, slightly strict, and well-disciplined. They are very knowledgeable, and there are PhD-qualified faculty in the 1st year and some in the 2nd year. The semester exams are not too tough to pass, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Faculty members are helpful, but the management is poor.
Placements: Our department has a good record in previous batch placements, with most students getting placed. Various recruiting companies like Infosys, Tally, Wipro, TCS, and Solar Square visit the campus. Internships are available for every student (paid). Top roles offered from my course are in core branches. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the old appearance is nice. Facilities in labs are not too good but also not bad. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, only for teachers and 1–2 students. The food quality in the canteen is good, but I do not suggest eating there. Classrooms are neat and clean.
Faculty: Semester exams are very easy to pass. You just need to study well. Sometimes one or two subjects may be difficult in any semester. The course curriculum is slightly relevant but does not make students completely industry-ready. Faculty members are good and very helpful, including both professors and assistant professors.
Other: Events and extracurricular activities are organized rarely. There is a well-established reservation system for SC/ST and OBC students, as well as some TFW seats.

My college is good at placements.
Placements: Placement is average because it depends on how hard you work and your command over your subjects. The college provides classes that teach aptitude and reasoning to help pass exams and crack interviews. Only a few companies, like TCS, come to the campus, and most students are placed in this company. Overall, the college placement is good.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good. It includes classrooms and the library, which has all types of books to help in studies and competitive exams, such as GATE and SSC books. Computer labs are also available, though some computers work properly because their software is an old version. Canteen food is good, but the price is high compared to outside food.
Faculty: Faculty is good at teaching and explaining topics, and their command over the subjects is enough to help students understand. The relationship between students and teachers is good. They are very helpful to students. Most of the syllabus is important and easy to understand. The exams are not very difficult to pass. They are easy and mostly from the syllabus, so passing is not difficult.
Other: I am from the EC branch in the 3rd year. I am currently preparing for campus placement and learning languages like Python, Java, and C++.
