RGPV MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024
At the PG level, RGPV Bhopal offers ME and MTech programmes under the University Institute of Technology. The duration of both programmes is two years each. RGPV ME and MTech admissions are based on a valid score in GATE, followed by DTE MP Counselling.
ME and MTech are offered in seven and five specialisations, respectively. The eligibility criteria for both the programmes are the same. Find it below:

RGPV M.Tech admission is subject to fulfilment of a specified set of admission criteria. According to the eligibility criteria, the minimum marks required in graduation ranges between 50% and 60%. Admissions to the programme are entrance-based. Hence not only should a candidate secure the minimum marks in Graduation, they are also required to have a valid score in the accepted entrance exams. RGPV accepts the score obtained by the students in various national and state-level entrance tests such as, GATE, MPPET, etc. In case a candidate does not get a seat at the institute, they can go for other colleges offering the course. RGPV MTech Admission 2023: How to Apply?
The RGPV application process is conducted online through the official website of the University. Candidates have to register for DTE MP Counselling by visiting its official website. The application fee for General category candidates is INR 1,500 and the fee for reserved category candidates is INR 750. Below mentioned is the step-wise RGPV application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of counselling.
Step 2: Select a course and register yourself.
Step 3: Verify your email id or mobile number by entering the OTP received at your email id or mobile number.
Step 4: Login using your email id and password.
Step 5: Fill out the application form by entering the required details.
Step 6: Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned copy of the qualifying exam marksheet.
Step 7: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.
