- CUET 2026 registration process has started for admission to several UG courses. Candidates can fill out the application form until Jan 31, 2026. The CUET exam 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
- The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

The RGPV offers three to five-year BTech courses to students across Computer Science and Engineering, AI and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, and other streams. The fee for the MTech course at RGPV ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 2.50 lakh. The RGPV offers two to five-year M.Tech courses to students across Computer Science and Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other streams. RGPV Bhopal offers four-year BE and BTech programmes under several specialisations. RGPV BE and BTech admissions are based on a candidate’s score in JEE Main, followed by DTE MP Counselling. To apply for the BTech programme, a candidate must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics with an aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).

- Application Process: Candidates applying for admission to courses offered at constituent colleges of RGPV are required to apply via DTE MP counselling process after qualifying for the respective entrance exams. Whereas, for admission to affiliated colleges of RGPV, candidates must apply on the official website concerned colleges.
- Selection Rounds: Candidates seeking admission to courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, BPharm, etc., must qualify for the respective national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, etc. These courses are taught via the university's constituent colleges. Whereas for admission to courses such as B.Ed, BSc, BCA, etc., admission is completely based on the merit scores of candidates obtained in previous qualifying exams. These courses are taught at the affiliated colleges of RGPV.
- Counselling Process: After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates have to apply for DTE MP Counselling process for the final seat allotment. After the release of the final merit lists, candidates have to visit the university's admission office in person for document verification.
For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems was 114463 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
