It cannot be said for sure if you will be able to get CSE in Round 3 of the Sastra Counseling. In the year 2022, the cut-off was 1080. Then for this year, we can expect the cut-off could be higher than the previous year. It is better to improve your rank in the JEE Mains exam, and you can even apply for admission to the spot round counseling. You can even try to apply for a lateral entry scheme.

Hence, with respect to ROI, it can be considered a decent option. Additionally, for Engineering courses, the deemed university comes under the top 50 institutes in India (by NIRF, Ministry of Education, which makes again makes it a decent option among students. It will open enter your BTMTI number and password given if you are registered for SASTRA. There you can find the application status and all other details.
