While joining hostel in 1st year at SASTRA, they usually take a 2000 extra under the name of caution deposit.
This amount is just for a safety reason that we would not misuse or damage hostel property.

The Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy (SASTRA) is a Tamil Nadu-based category one deemed university with a top NIRF ranking of 24. It attracts top companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys for campus placement. You need to get into their merit list for admission into their four-year full-time B.Tech course. This is prepared as per this formula: JEE Main percentile multiplied by.25) + (12th class score multiplied by.75). Based on the given information, you do have a good score in both exams, yet getting into computer Science engineering (CSE) will be a bit difficult as the cut off is usually high for this course based on previous year Statistics even in state quota.
