Yes, SASTRA University's BTech courses are ranked by NIRF. In 2024, the SASTRA University BTech was ranked by NIRF at #38. At this percentile lower branch can be possible but some good college also there that is

Government College of Technology, Coimbatore (GCT)
2. PSG College of Technology (Autonomous), Coimbatore – Less likely for core branches, but possible for newer ones.

Pass in the +2 examination in a single sitting in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology from recognised State Board / Central Board or any other Board accepted by SASTRA as equivalent to 10+2, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in all subjects.

SASTRA has two modes of admission: IPE and JEE Mains. Your IPE score is quite good however your JEE scores may place you at lower branches. So you would definitely get a seat at SASTRA Thanjavur however your chances of getting a CSE seat is low.Maybe you'll get admission in IT or any other related f

One must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12th exam. Admissions to 70% of the seats will be based on the merit rank obtained by giving 50% weightage to normal aggregate Class XII Marks and 50% weightage to JEE Main scores through institutional counselling. The average package offered at Sastra University placements 2026 is yet to be released on the official website. The median package offered to UG 3 year students of the batch 2025 was INR 4 LPA. For BTech and MTech, it was INR 8 and INR 5.5 LPA.
