SMAT Application Form 2026: Know How to Apply

The application process for SMAT 2026 has started and the admission form is available now. Candidates seeking to pursue MBA programmes at Shiv Nadar University can apply on the ofiicial website of the University. To fill the SMAT 2026 application form, candidates have to first register and create a login at the Shiv Nadar University website (direct link provided on this page below). After successful registration, they will be required to provide their academic and professional details, pay the application fees and complete the application form. SMAT 2026 date or PI date will be shared with the registered candidates through email.

How to apply for SMAT 2026?

SMAT aspirants require a bachelor's degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate from a recognized institution. Candidates can also choose to not take SMAT exam if they have valid CAT/GMAT/NMAT by GMAC/XAT scores. Check the application process below:

  • Log on to Shiv Nadar University's official website or click here
  • Register with name, email address, state. city, password
  •  A PID number will be generated
  • Use this PID number to  access the application form
  • Fill the form with correct personal, academic and professional details
  • Select from exam or non exam pathway options
  • Carefully check the application form before submission
  • Pay application fees via debit card/credit card or net banking

SMAT 2026 Application Fees

Applicants are required to pay INR 2,149 as application fees either through online mode or offline mode for SMAT 2026:

For online mode, candidates can opt for one of the following payment gateway:

  • NEFT/RTGS
  • Debit Card/Credit Card

For offline mode, candidates are required to draw a Demand Draft of INR 2,149 in favour of Shiv Nadar University payable at Noida and send it along with the duly-filled application form to the following address.

Note: The candidates are advised to preserve a copy of the duly filled form and payment acknowledgment slip till the end of the admission process.

Documents Required during SMAT 2026 Registration

Given below is the list of documents required to fill the SMAT 2026 and SNU MBA admission form:

  • Marksheet of class 10, class 12 and graduation
  • Email id and a valid mobile number
  • Scanned photograph and signature (less than 50 kb)
  • Work Experience certificate (if applicable)

The scanned photograph and signature will have to be uploaded in the form, thus candidates must use recent and clean copies of the same.

SMAT Registration 2026: Important Points to Remember

Candidates must note the following about the SMAT 2026 application process:

  • The SMAT 2026 application fee is non-refundable
  • Read the instruction carefully before applying for the exam
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected
  • All the information regarding the exam will be communicated on candidate's email id
  • Candidate must upload a clear and recent passport size photo in the application form

If you have not studied Maths in class 12, you need not worry about it. SMAT has very basic level of questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Mensuration. You can revise these topics to prepare for the exam and that'll be enough.

SMAT syllabus is not difficult. It includes regular aptitude related subjects like Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability. These subjects are common to other entrance exams too.

Sports Awareness section has the highest weightage in the SMAT exam. It has 24 questions. Verbal Ability has 20 questions and rest three sections have 12 questions.

It is not compulsory to attempt all sections of SMAT but it is advisable to attempt a good number of questions in each section of the exam for a good overall score.
