It has a very good campus and infrastructure.
Placements: There are 100% placements, but companies are not coming up with a good package. Very few known and big companies visit the college for placements. For internships, there are no good companies, as some are even fraudulent, and they state something and make us do fundraising or sales. Companies that visit the college are not good.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms provided are very good. Especially MBA or master's students have personal rooms. There are AC rooms in all weather situations. The food is also good. There are both indoor and outdoor sports. For medical emergencies, there is a healthcare centre on campus. The campus also has its own incubation centre.
Faculty: Exams are okay and not so good. Faculty members are very sweet and helpful. Professors here are PhD holders and are alumni of leading institutions. For MBA, the entrance is by NMAT, CAT, XAT, and CMAT scores.

A solid foundation for engineering students with world class facilities.
Placements: 90% of students got placed from my course this year. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are NVIDIA, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm India, Samsung, etc. Most of the students about 85% got internships in companies like Wipro, HCL, Qualcomm India, Google, etc. The top roles that are offered are electrical engineer, software developer, design engineer, analog design engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus offers fully Wi-Fi and AC-equipped classrooms, advanced labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are excellent with hygienic food in the mess. Medical care is available in the campus. Sports and games are well-supported with proper facilities and trained coaches.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and friendly, they are very helpful in all aspects. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of the exams is average. Pass percentage is 95%.

Brutally honest review about SNU.
Placements: People above 7.5 CGPA are more likely to get placed. Most of the people who got placed are either good CGPA holders or like really pro-level coders. The highest package as of now is 50 LPA. The lowest salary is 7 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Brain and Company, HPE, Oracle, Chegg, Goldman Sachs, Go Daddy, JustPay, and Microsoft. Only 10% of the people got internships at Microsoft and Goldman Sachs. Top roles offered are analyst, associate tech consultant, and SWE.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs with great computers (serve too for research purposes) and 24X7 Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Hostels are decent. Hostel rooms are double occupancy and are spacious. The only issue is that the hot water doesn't come in the assigned period. Mess food is terrible. I mean other college students say our is better than their but still hostel food is just good enough to fill our belly. There are good medical facilities and sports facilities too.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are helpful to be honest not everyone is helpful. Teaching quality is as nice as it is in any other decent college. Curriculum is mostly relevant and quite helpful as per industry demand. Semester exams are honesty bit hard to pass. You need at least 30% to pass and most of the class passes except a few.
Other: I chose this course because I want to settle on the IT industry. Best thing about CSE is that one can explore a lot of fields as CSE isn't limited to a specific domain. It would be great if they complete courses like CAN and TOC by 2nd year. SNU has a ton of events, there's an annual fest, a sports fest, an intra-college fest, etc. The crowd is decent. The campus has great connectivity to Noida and Delhi through GT road. As of now the system of scholarships has been removed. There are a lot of extracurricular activities to participate in.

It is best to enjoy your college life in a friendly environment.
Placements: Most students from the passed-out batch are placed, mainly around 90 percent. The highest package is 28 LPA, the lowest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is around 10 or 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Intel, Nvidia, Samsung, HCL, and many more. About 70 percent of students got internships from my course in companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL, etc. The top roles offered include IoT Engineer, Research Intern, Software Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided for my course are top-class, with a fully Wi-Fi campus, labs for experiments, every classroom with AC, and a well-maintained library. Facilities provided in hostels are excellent, with both single and double-sharing rooms available. The food quality is also excellent, providing nutritious and healthy meals. Our college offers essential medical facilities to ensure the health and well-being of all students and staff, with a tie-up with HCL Healthcare. Our college actively promotes physical fitness through a wide range of sports.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and are qualified from high institutions across the country and the world. The teaching quality is very impressive, and we love the teaching style of our professors. The course curriculum is very relevant, it helps students in the fields of electrical and electronics, as well as in computer software. The difficulty level of the exams is medium, and the passing percentage is 35%.

Great campus and good faculty members.
Placements: Good companies visit the SNU campus which offers decent packages to students. Many students get placed in top companies. Many opt for higher studies. The average package is around 10 LPA. Almost 100% of placements are there in most of the batches at SNU.
Infrastructure: The mess food is good and the taste is also great. The food quality is maintained. There are breakfast, lunch, evening, dinner, and midnight meals offered to students. Hostels have twin and single sharing options and AC or non-AC options as well for students.
Faculty: Exams are not easy they are on a moderate to hard level. Faculty members are supportive. Many students do research under different pros. Students have to maintain a good GPA to be able to sit and secure good placements. Overall this makes students industry-ready.
Other: Little campus life and a great experience.

The infrastructure and faculty are good. Overall, it is a good experience with everything.
Placements: About 73% of students get placed this year. The rest take up higher studies. The average package stands at around 9.5 LPA for students studying ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering). The highest average is around 12 LPA for Computer majors and around 11 LPA for Business Management students.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air-conditioned 24/7. The libraries are open for an adequate amount of time for everyone to access. Hostel rooms are good, but some issues are not fixed with immediate action. Network issues are found in some places, but overall, Wi-Fi has good coverage everywhere. Medical facilities are really bad, even for the slightest issues, we are asked to go to a specialty hospital outside. The sports infrastructure is good. Canteen food can be made better, and slight improvements are being seen now.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and the curriculum is also top-notch. They follow the MIT course curriculum and are helpful. However, their availability is quite limited and can be better by having more tutors we can interact with more freely.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in a CS BTech in Shiv Nadar Noida with an 82 percentile in the JEE Mains?

Shiv Nadar University does not offer direct admission to any of the programme. BTech CSE is one of the popular specialisations of SNU. Candidates are required to either qualify JEE Main or CUET/ SAT/ SNUSAT. Now, is 82 percentile enough in JEE Main to get a seat in BTech CE programme of SNU Noida. The chances are low. As per the information collated from multiple sources, aspirants must score 90 & above percentile for getting into a specialisation like Computer Science. Besides, aspirants with 98 percentile in JEE Main. can avail SNU Scholarship providing 25% waiver in tuition fee.

Q:   What is the expected XAT cutoff 2025?
A: 

Shiv Nadar University XAT Cutoff 2025 is not out yet. However as per the previous year XAT Cutoff 2024, the MBA cutoff 2024 for General AI category was 60. It has been observed over the years that the cutoff remained the same. So, it is expected that the XAT Cutoff 2025 will remain the same as the previous year.

Q:   Does Shiv Nadar University Noida offer hostel facilities for MBA students?
A: 

Yes, MBA at SNU Noida is a fully resedential programme. This implies that students enrolled in this programme are required to live on campus premises for the whole course duration. Each hostel at the university is equipped with all essential facilities, such as a pantry, water coolers fitted with RO and purifiers, mess, and more.

Students are offered both AC and Non-AC accommodations. The AC accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As per an official brochure, the total fee structure included residential fees of INR 2.5 Lacs per year.

Shiv Nadar University is spread across 286 acre of land. The campus of Shiv Nadar University is fully equipped with various facilities such as a medical centre, saloon, student recreational centre, indoor sports complex, post office, central library, in-house Bank, and two ATMs. It also offers both AC and non-AC accommodations for its students. Other than these, SNU University also offers a centralised library, 24*7 security, and a health centre with residential para-medic staff and visiting doctors.

It has a ship-like structure, which is centrally air-conditioned and has all the basic amenities, such as reading tables, fans, water coolers, etc. The iconic Shiv Nadar IoE Central Library has a wide range of books, scientific and technical journals, and electronic reference materials. Can more than one course be applied for in a round? Or the 2nd course should be applied for in a later round in case of 1st choice failure?

Yes, you can apply for more than one course in the same counselling round by listing them in order of your preference. If you get a seat that's not your first choice, you can choose to wait for the next round for a better option. Just make sure to update your preferences before each round.
