KMAT 2026 exam for the first session of exam is scheduled to be held in the first week of September 2026. The KMAT application was released on April 2, 2026, and the last registration date is August 31, 2026. The KMAT Karnataka 2026 is conducted to offer admissions into 169 colleges in Karnataka. KMAT 2026 registration was completed between April 2, 2026, and August 31, 2026. The application form for the exam was supposed to be filled out online via the KMAT website. The KMAT registration process involved:

KMAT admit card 2026 download link will likely be made live in the first week of September, 2026. The admit cards will be available for downloaded till the exam day. Exam day instructions, timings, reporting time, and other details will be mentioned on the KMAT admit card 2026. 

Steps to Download KMAT Admit Card

  1. Go to KMAT India website

  2. Click on the 'KMAT 2026 admit card' link on the homepage and login to the KMAT candidate portal

  3. Click on 'Download Admit Card' link
  4. Enter log in details i.e. application number and date of birth

  5. The admit card will appear on the screen, verify the details printed on it for any mistakes/errors

  6. Download the admit card for Karnataka KMAT and take a printout

KMAT 2026 will likely be conducted in two sessions. Each session had a different registration window. KMAT is conducted once a year in two sessions. The KMAT 2026 will likely be conducted in the first week of September 2026, for first session. The exam will be conducted in a home based online proctored test mode across the country.

KMAT Counselling Dates 2026

KPPGCA will not conduct any centralized KMAT counselling process. But, the colleges accepting KMAT scores 2026 will conduct counselling for admission to MBA programme. Students should know that once the KMAT cut off 2026 is announced, students will be called for the counselling rounds at the participating colleges. Multiple counselling sessions will be conducted for qualified candidates. KMAT results 2026 will likely be announced in the last week of September 2026.

The KMAT exam is held for two hours or 120 minutes. There is only one slot for the KMAT exam. KMAT exam does not have any sectional time limit. This means, that the candidates can take the KMAT exam according to their preference and can switch between sections and questions as per their need. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates have to take the KMAT exam from the safe environment of their homes as the exam will be conducted in the internet-based test mode and the candidates have to choose their slot for the exam day.

Here are the steps to download the previous year's question papers for KMAT: Visit the official website of KMAT Karnataka or KPPGCA. Click on the 'Downloads' section on the homepage. Look for the 'Previous Year Question Papers' option and click on it. Select the year for which you want to download the question paper. The question paper will be displayed on the screen in PDF format. Download and save the question paper for future reference. KMAT cutoff is minimum marks required for admission to KMAT accepting colleges and it changes each year and depends on many factors.
