Q: What is the marking scheme of ACAT?

According to the ACAT exam pattern, the ACAT question paper will have a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question in the ACAT exam will carry three marks. This means, that if the candidate has marked five correct options, they will be awarded 15 marks. The total marks in the question paper are 300. Candidates must also know, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for the unmarked questions. ACAT is a time-based exam, hence, the candidates must complete the exam within the specified duration, whilst keeping the negative markings in mind.

The ACAT exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode across various test cities in the country. The medium of the ACAT question paper will be English.
