Absolutely satisfied with it because of the good faculty members. Most importantly, good placements.
Placements: Almost 65% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was up to 3 LPA. The lowest was up to Rs. 80,000. The average was 2 to 2.5 LPA. Many top companies like Amazon, Google, and Zomato recruited students. 75% of students got internships at top companies like Amazon through my course. Top roles like graphic designer, artist, and manager were offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities like free Wi-Fi, fully AC classrooms, many libraries, and good infrastructure were available in my course. The quality of facilities in my hostel was excellent. It was totally hygienic food, well-cleaned rooms with AC, and a playground for games and sports.
Faculty: Some teachers were knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was great. Faculty of some subjects was also good. This course did not make students industry-ready. Semester exams were not very difficult, as one could pass or score well by studying before the exam. The pass percentage was only 33%.
Other: I chose this course to pursue my dream further in this field. The best thing about my course was its placements in top companies. All things were great, but one improvement I think could be made is to help students learn mentally and physically by taking them to explore specific physical topics. Events and fests were organized annually, and there was a larger crowd than usual. The surroundings were great and calm. Scholarships were offered in the final year, and many extracurricular activities were performed.

B.A. in Mass Communication - Batch of 2026
Offered by Satyam School of Journalism and Mass Communication

A good option for journalism.
Placements: I am a bachelor student so around 60-70% of students get placed from our college premises. If I talk about internships, every single student who is interested in an internship is doing one provided by our college. We even get an opportunity to work with government officials.
Infrastructure: We have a separate room for recordings and for photography which are both equally important for practical things. Hostel facilities are also good, you get AC facilities and hygiene is given the top priority. The canteen serves the best fried rice.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced, very helpful, and knowledgeable. The best part is that we get to explore the industry ourselves, and we get to know about the fieldwork, whatever we are studying in our classes we get to see it practically.
Other: The course is good. We get to explore ourselves in the media field to get to know about the industry and how things work in the background. One more thing about this college is that we get to organise the fest in which we get the opportunity to meet new people and to handle situations and crises at the same time. This makes you confident and gives you a leadership quality.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: As per the latest placement statistics, 80% of students from our B.J.M.C. are successfully placed in top companies, with the highest package being is 12 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters include advertising companies like Ogilvy and JWT, media houses like Times Group, Zee News, and Aaj Tak, online news portals like NDTV, social media companies like Facebook and Google, and event management companies like Fame India. With top roles such as content writers, digital marketing specialists, public relations officers, broadcast journalists, event managers, social media managers, media planners, anchors, and scriptwriters.
Infrastructure: Our B.M.M. department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to support the academic and professional growth of students, including media labs, studio and production facilities, editing suites, library and resource center, computer labs, audio-visual equipment, and industry partnerships. Our college hostels provide comfortable and secure accommodation for students. College mess and canteen provide a variety of nutritious and hygienic food. Access to quality medical facilities, including a college clinic and medical room. Well-equipped sports facilities, including playgrounds, gyms, and indoor sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and qualified senior faculty members. University faculty comprises experts in various disciplines, including journalism and mass communication, where students learn from professionals with industry experience.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about communication, media, and storytelling. This course offers a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of mass media. Our college hostels host a range of events throughout the year, including Media Fest, an annual festival that showcases student talent in media and communication with many creative events. Various cultural events and festivals are also celebrated in our college.

I am satisfied with the library and facilities, but a little bit disappointed with the syllabus.
Placements: For my course, there is no specific minimum percentage needed. Sometimes in the 2nd or 3rd year, students do get an internship. I don't know about the package placement, but as I know placement rate is low, but still available. In this course, there is no problem with the percentage at all.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but we do have a library, a study library, a badminton court, 2 canteens, labs, etc. There is availability of hostel facilities, and food is average. There are so many games in my college, including yoga, badminton, karate, chess, kabaddi, and everything.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. The exams are a little bit hard, but manageable and knowledge-based. The students build a nice base because of the curriculum, but still, they need to work with some teachers. The exams are always difficult because you don't know what's going to come.
Other: The campus should be improved at the university.

Supportive and good faculty.
Placements: Approximately 85–90% of students get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.2 LPA. The average package is around 5.5 LPA. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Cipla, Lupin, Tata Chemicals, Biocon, and Thermo Fisher Scientific are recruiting companies. I am excited about new growth and success.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities to support both academic and research needs. Key highlights include high-speed campus-wide Wi-Fi access for students and faculty. There are advanced and well-maintained labs for organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry with modern instruments such as UV-Vis spectrophotometers, FTIR, HPLC, and more. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with smart boards and projectors.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs and having research or industry experience. They are approachable, supportive, and always willing to help with doubts and project guidance. The teaching quality is strong, with a good mix of theoretical depth and practical applications.
Other: I chose the B.A. course because I have a strong interest in the humanities. I want to explore subjects that help me understand society, culture, and human behavior. It also opens up diverse career paths in education, civil services, content creation, media, and more.

Offered by CSJM - Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University

Good academic support but limited industry readiness. Decent infrastructure, and vibrant campus life
Placements: I am from the B.A. psychology (hons) batch at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. While placements for psychology students are still developing, some students do find opportunities in NGOs, schools, and mental health organizations. Internships are self-source, with students interning in areas like counseling or HR, with growing awareness around mental health, the scope for psychology graduates is increasing steadily.
Infrastructure: B.A. psychology course has a basic infrastructure with decent classrooms and a well-stocked library, as well as a laboratory for psychology practicals. Hostel facilities are average with simple food, basic medical help, and some sports amenities. Wi-Fi and lab facilities are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable, though teaching methods are mostly traditional. The curriculum is relevant but not fully industry-focused. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally high. Extra academic guidance depends on student initiative.
Other: I chose B.A. psychology due to my interest in human behavior and mental health. The best aspects of the course are its foundation knowledge and diverse subject offerings. However, practical exposure and modern resources could improve. Campus life is vibrant, with events and fests, though connectivity could be better.
