Get the professional course of Journalism, B.A. Mass Communications.
Placements: In this college, there is a high strength of students studying here. In my class, batch 2022-25, our strength is seventy-five, but ten of them have dropped the course. After completing a Bachelor in Mass Communication, there is a rare chance of getting a job, but you are still able to work with companies that offer at least eighteen to twenty thousand rupees per month. Recruitment by companies depends on your skills or interests because Mass Communication is a very vast line for making a career.
Infrastructure: No doubt, our faculty members are very polite and supportive, comparatively. They are familiar with us and always try to make us feel comfortable. However, they don't have sufficient knowledge of new media tools and technology, and the software used to work in media houses. The college infrastructure is just okay. There is a mini media lab, but Wi-Fi facility is not available.
Faculty: Our faculty members don't have sufficient knowledge of new media tools and technology, and the software used to work in media houses. Some of them explain the topics very well, but not all of them. They don't make the students industry-ready, as they don't even perform practical classes, in which we can develop our skills and build confidence to work in the field.

I am dissatisfied with our college.
Placements: We haven't got any kind of placements from our college. During admission time, they assured us that we would have good placements, but they were never conducted. None of the companies visited here for placements. Students found internships on their own. The teachers of our college haven't helped with the internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are big, and the chairs and tables in them are in good condition. There is no Wi-Fi, but it is available in the library. There are two rooms for the library, and in one room, we can sit, but it feels like a canteen because there is no silence. The other room has books where students are not allowed. In our course, there are no books for us. We were assured about the canteen when we visited the college for admission. We are going to be graduate, but there is still no canteen. There is no sports room. Students are not allowed to the computer room. Mostly the computer room is locked.
Faculty: Though the exams are sometimes hard, it's totally different from what we studied and what we have in our syllabus. Some teachers help with notes. But during the COVID also, there was no fixed time for online lectures. Even they are conducted offline. We used to go to college, but teachers used to be available sometimes and not available sometimes. There is no completion of the chapters. In every semester, we learned the same old things.
Other: I wanted to study more about photography and videography, but here they focused on just journalism. I wish they teach other things also which are related to mass communication. Otherwise, they should change the name to BA Hons journalism. Extracurricular activities are conducted, but very less. We get information about it at the last moment like a day before the activity is going to conduct.

Need to know before you take admission.
Placements: The placement criteria is very weak inside the campus, but if you want get placed you can try outside the campus. Not many students got on campus placements. The placement criteria for other courses are good enough as compared to humanities department.
Infrastructure: The classes, benches and labs are other infrastructure are well maintained in the university. They have quite big library with a number of books based on different subjects. Wi-Fi is present but seriously have never used it. The cafeteria is still under construction.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in their peculiar fields. The semester exams are not too difficult for the students. The students can easily score good if they study properly but the marking scheme is not yet understood. Not to worry before giving exam.
Other: I chose my course for its so much hype and popularity among the masses and because I couldn't find such a renowned course at so affordable fees. I would like to improve the method of teaching by the teachers in my department.

This college has good value for money with reasonable fees.
Placements: Our college has no placements. Not many placement opportunities are available. The salary packages given are also not very admirable. Our college provides many internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college and hostel are good, especially the hostel. The hostel is good. The college and hostel provide excellent facilities in every way possible.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They do their best to give students their knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant. It helps students cope with the upcoming challenges in their careers. Exams are conducted in a good manner.

Our college provides good teachers, placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Around 50% of students were placed. Top companies like Amar, Ujala, Dainik, and Jagran were recruiting students. Around 75% of students got internships in many different companies. There are many good roles like New report, Writer, Editor, and Photographer.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure available like proper classrooms, library, labs, good campus, and uniforms. I don't know much about the hostel and the food they provide mess because I was a day scholar.
Faculty: Teachers were good, highly qualified, very helpful, very understanding, and teach very well. This course is curriculum relevant. It gives the knowledge of what is going on in the world and boosts confidence in the students.
Other: I chose this course to improve general knowledge, confidence, speaking and reading skills, grammar, vocabulary, and current affairs. Fests are held for new students.
