SMVDU admission process are both entrance and merit-based followed by counselling. SMVDU accepts the admission on the basis of CUET exam for most of the UG & PG courses. For few courses such as BTech, MBA, M.Tech admission are based on JEE/CAT/MAT/GATE/CCMT.
SMVDU admits students based on the rank obtained in JEE/JOSAA/CSAB/UCEED for engineering programs and CUET-UG/CUET-PG for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Sciences, Management and Humanities. Admission in MBA programme will be based on CAT/MAT/CMAT/CUET score along with score obtained in GD/PI . In second phase for vacant seats in MBA programme CUET (PG) will be considered).
