The MAT 2026 September session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is Sep 7, 2026, with the exam scheduled for Sep 13, 2026. For CBT mode, the last date to register is Sep 14, 2026, for the exam taking place on Sep 20, 2026.

A few more updates are given below:

The IIT JAM 2026 fourth admission list for admission to the MSc course will be declared on Jun 27, 2026.
The CUET UG 2026 exam result for admission to several UG courses has been released.
The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
The CUET PG results are declared for admission to various PG-level courses. The counselling is conducted separately by each participating institution.
The GATE CCMT 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the ME/MTech course will be released on Jun 27, 2026.
The JoSAA 2026 round 1 seat allotment result has been declared for admission to the BE/BTech course. Students can pay the seat allotment fee until Jun 26, 2026.

SMVDU Fee Structure 2026

Students wishing to get into the programmes offered at SMVDU are charged a certain amount as fees. The total tuition fees may vary depending on the course and specialisation chosen by the candidates. Peaceful campus, strong academics, limited placements, and industry exposure.

Placements: In case of placement they try to give opportunities but don't succeed very well. As 9.5 LPA is the highest package by B.Tech CSE on-campus but off-campus doing well as B.Tech CSE got 2 times 36 LPA as the highest. In my batch of 2025 total of 109 students were there. Internship opportunities are also provided by the university in various fields and teachers provide projects to students for their internships. There is a whole system that helps students find internships.

Infrastructure: Not all hostels are in very good condition but they try to improve. It takes time because many hostels are very old as among the 5 boys' hostels, 4 of them were built before 2010 and they are all in need of some renovation. Ethernet is available at all times.

Faculty: The marking scheme of college has changed from the 2024 batch. It is like 1 minor exam of 20 marks, 20 marks quizzes, and 20 marks assignments/projects. As it is a university with various courses and departments and as of 2025 the university added a new course of B.Tech Robotics and AI.

Other: Campus life is awesome and I enjoyed it because of its location and events organised by the university. There are too many clubs that are active and engaged everywhere and doing so much well in their fields NCC is also available at the university.

Overall, college life is better.

Placements: Mathematics and computing were first opened in 2024. First time, first batch is from 24-28, so there is no placement history. Looking at the current record of this batch, it is assumed that most of the students will get placed. There are other activities held by the department, like trips and industrial visits for students. The head of the department is very helpful. If you talk to teachers, they are also available all the time.

Infrastructure: Facilities are mostly good wifi are available in academic block and hostel also classroom are mostly average in my department condition of classroom is good and lab facilities are best from my side best thing is there a library with over ten thousand books digital library also available there seperate study section and a different library for my dipartment also available medical facilities are good and in sports there a good everything available for playing games

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is mostly average. This course is relevant. The course is not as difficult as ECE or EE. It is very easy if you are interested in it. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you are studying, then it is not that hard for you. The difficulty level is different for everyone. The pass percentage is the same as that of other colleges.

Other: I chose this course because I am more interested in math. It is better than CSE or other courses. Events happen twice a year. Scholarships are available for the top six students in class, and there are different types of scholarships. There are also many extracurricular activities.

In 2023, it performed well in placements and rankings.

Placements: Placements are decent with around 50-70 percent of students getting placed. The highest package is 7 LPA-8 LPA and the average range is between 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA. Hiring companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and similar companies. Internship opportunities are also continuously improving.

Infrastructure: Excellent classrooms, good labs, and a library also provide Wi-Fi. Hostels are way too good, with average food, and medical facilities are also available with free check-ups. Then their is guest house facilities also, where rooms are literally good for only 650 cost.

Faculty: All teachers and professors are qualified and supportive. The curriculum is fairly relevant, but there is a little more requirement for practical and industry-oriented exposure for students. Then semester exams are moderately easy depending on subjects, and the pass percentage is almost high, around 75-85%.

Other: Overall, the infrastructure of the college, hostels, sports ground, and library is good and continuously improving.

SMVDU has a scenic campus, supportive faculty, good academics, and improving placements.

Placements: Placements for our batch in the economics and related courses are satisfactory. 70 to 75 percent of students are successfully placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest package is around 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiters included Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and ICICI Bank. 60 percent of students got internships in reputed organizations such as NITI Aayog, state government departments, and corporates. The most offered roles are business analyst, data analyst, financial consultant, research associate, and management trainee.

Infrastructure: SMVDU has modern facilities, with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped labs, a central library, and digital resources. Hostels are clean with basic amenities, 24X7 internet, and study areas. Mess and canteen serve hygienic food. Medical center, sports complex, gym, and grounds support student health, and recreation is available for development.

Faculty: At SMVDU, teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and approachable, ensuring conceptual clarity and practical exposure. Teaching quality is good, blending lectures with projects and presentations. The curriculum is regularly updated, industry-oriented, and includes internships, workshops, and skill-based courses to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. It focuses on understanding rather than written learning, and can be cleared with consistent preparation. The pass percentage remains high, usually above 90 percent, as faculty guide tutorials and remedial sessions. Other: I chose this course at SMVDU for its reputed faculty, industry-oriented curriculum, and serene campus environment. The best things are the quality of teaching, research opportunities, and exposure through workshops and internships. Improvements could be made in core company placements and increasing industry collaborations. University hosts vibrant events like Tatva, Verve, and other cultural/technical fests. It brings energy to campus life. Campus crowd is diverse, friendly, and cooperative. Scholarships are based on merit and need. The college is surrounded by scenic hills, with good facilities, extracurricular activities, and sports. SMVDU provides a holistic environment for academic and personal growth.

Placements: A few of them were placed because there is a smaller mass of people in economics. That's one of the reasons. I am not sure about the package, but I can say a decent amount. Infrastructure: The library is the main facility, which is helpful for the students. Wi-Fi facility is available for both students and faculty members. There are several messes and canteens available for different houses. A gymnasium is available for hostel students. Ground available for all the students. University sports games are held among different houses.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and skilled in their spheres of knowledge. The quality of teaching is awesome. Levels of semester exams are good. The pass percentage was the same as 33%, and there are some exceptions. There are extra technical subjects there for extra skills.

Other: I selected this course because it provides several opportunities in all spheres of life, whether it is the government or the private sector. Specifically for the banking sector. It also provides great exposure to the private sector.

Infrastructure: The college facilities are very good and well-provided. It also has a good mess facility. The campus spans 450 acres with lush greenery and is surrounded by the beautiful Trikuta mountain ranges, which enhance the beauty of the campus and its surroundings.

Faculty: Faculty members are nice, but most of them are rude in nature. This makes students hesitate to approach them, which is why they can’t fully benefit from their knowledge. But, not all faculty members are like this, many of them are kind and share their knowledge completely with students.
