Dissatisfied due to poor management.

Placements: There are only 10 students placed in my course. There are no placements. No companies come here usually but sometimes some companies come to hire a sales person. Only 5% of students got internships here which is not any specific opportunity for students that can enhance their career.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is a large campus. We have library, digital library, hostel, and all other things. There are 3 hostels, new hostel, old hostel, and international hostel. There are 4 messes and 4 canteens where the food quality is satisfactory and delicious.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated and cooperative. They try their best to enhance our knowledge. They always try to explain everything in detail in a manner that can be understood by students easily. The exam is a little bit difficult, paper pattern is hard without any cheating.

Other: I have chosen this course from a reference of a relative. The lab is outdated and it should be upgraded. There are very less events organised here.

The college is very famous, basically for agriculture, and has been working for the last 130 years.

Placements: The average package offered in our course is around 500000 pa. The top companies recruiting for the course are Mahindra, Tata, Swaraj Mazda, and many more. The students who got internships from our course are from Tata, NTPC, BSP, Mahindra, and industrial training.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good and our infrastructure is from the Britishers' time. They provide us free Wi-Fi in every classroom, department, hostel, and in libraries as well. The quality of food is good, and medical facilities are available with a hospital in our college.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful by nature well-qualified, knowledgeable, and have very good teaching qualities. The semester exams in our college are easy for all, and proper guidance is provided by the teachers. The passing percentage is 6 SGPA and CGPA.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest. The best thing about my course is the proper workshop training area and the machines provided by our college.

Average college with good faculty and average student Placement.

Placements: For my course, about 30% of my batch students were placed. The highest package CPC is of 3 lacs and the lowest is of 1.4 lacs with average salary of 1.8 lacs. Top recruiting company is Sonalika Tractors International for the position of Graduate Trainee. About 60% of students got the internship in various private and Public sector companies like in BPCL, Precision Engineering, HECL, Opportunity phones, Tafe Tractor etc.

Infrastructure: There is a centralized Wi-Fi controlled from Administrative Building. Most of the labs are situated in their departments. All classes are conducted in a separate building dedicated only for the classes. There is both a department library and a central library. Hostels are allocated separately to the students from far off areas from the college which are different for every year students. The quality of food is as usual. There is a large playground common for all the students and is large enough for all of them.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are young but are knowledgeable and well qualified. Teaching quality is just good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant but it depends on the particular student that whether he or she can give his/her best in the course or not.

Other: The demand of the Mechanical Engineering at the time of My admission is good i.e. in 2014. It is the universal common course of engineering so it's demand in the industry is also good most of the time. Annual fest is organised every year in the college.

The college is good, but the engineering department needs improvement.

Placements: About 10-15% of the students are placed every year. Top recruiting companies are Tata Mahindra, etc. About 80-90% of the students got an internship in different companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are average. Wi-Fi service is provided, but it is chargeable. The equipment inside the laboratories is not functioning properly as far as mechanical labs are concerned. Classrooms are good, but they become hot during summers.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, but there are certain teachers who don't cooperate nor listen to students. Teaching quality is average. Students are industry-ready, but there is a big margin for improvement as far as practical work is concerned.
