Review of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences.
Placements: The average package offered in that course is generally 6-7 LPA. The percentage of students who get internships from that course is normally 10-20%. Companies like Mahindra, Escorts, TAFE, etc., are involved. Nothing much can be said about that college. Top roles offered from the course include Sales Manager, Sales, etc.
Infrastructure: I don't think there are any good facilities for the students. Yes, labs, classrooms, and the library are okay; we can manage with these facilities. The quality of food in the hostel mess and canteen is too bad. No, I can't recommend anybody to go to this college hostel.
Faculty: Semester examinations are not very difficult; you can crack them easily because everything in your semester examinations is related to your syllabus—nothing is out of the syllabus. So, yes, it's good. Maybe, if you get 30+, you're considered to pass. Yes, teachers are helpful, and the teaching quality is okay; nothing much can be said about that also.
Other: A little bit of improvement is needed in teaching quality, faculty members, and the knowledge about the course; I wish it would be better. Events are average, fests are also average, and the campus surroundings are not so good. I will not recommend anybody.

SHUATS- A 110 year old college.
Placements: Placement is very less for this college. Only 5 to 10% students got placement through campus selection. Others prepare for further studies or search for jobs by applying various forms through off-campus mode. The highest package is INR 3.5 LPA offered by Escort tractor company and the lowest is INR 2.5 LPA. The top companies are Tech Mahindra, Escorts, and other farm equipment companies. The percentage of students getting internship is 100%, they send their students to various government training centers such as DVC, CFTRI, Northern region farm machinery training center, etc. Most of the students get internship in farm equipment companies and AUTOCAD is a must for everyone. Top role offered is of consultant or assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very old as it is 110 years old campus but nowadays they are renovating it. The campus is equipped with wi-fi and computer labs. There are more than 50 labs for various departments to conduct research and studies. There is a huge central library with good number of books and study materials. The food quality is somewhat good but it could be improved. There are more than 4-5 canteens available in each department along with SHUATS cafe which is made up of wood and providing every item according to the choice. Sports is there, with 2 huge playgrounds for cricket, football and volleyball.
Faculty: The professors are learned fellows with degrees in Ph.D. and most of them are foreign returns. So they have ample amount of knowledge but they lack teaching quality. The course curriculum is of semester system and have lots of assignments and project work to do. The course is hectic as you have to study hard to have a grip on the subjects. Exams are not that much hard and one can easily excel in it by studying regularly.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering because it is a technical course with a blend of agriculture and engineering. The best thing about this course is the right kind of exposure which will make you industry ready. But it could be improved more if the college provides more placement offers for the students so they get motivated to study more. There are many events which goes on side by side. Crowd is very diverse from all over India. Mostly north eastern students come here. Dance and drama clubs are there.

Campus life is great but the placements and course are not so good.
Placements: Very few companies came at the time of placement but not a single irrigation company. It may be because of covid but still, the salary package was also not good. The highest salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Very few students got placed and many didn't even consider applying for the jobs.
Infrastructure: It is quite a huge university and they provide every basic facility that a college should provide like Wi-Fi and labs for students. Every department has it's own library and there is one big central library also for students. Hostel is not worth living as the rooms are small with no proper tiling or anything but the mess is quite nice. The food served is good. There is a basketball court and also one for women inside their hostel gate. There is an indoor badminton court too.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite helpful when it comes to exams and other issues. The things they teach in the course are quite beneficial for the future. The exams are not so tough if you pay attention in the class. The passing percentage is 50% which is not that much to score.

Overall, satisfying due to some of students, just fees is a little bit higher.
Placements: Placement is up to the mark. Out of 100 students, 10-12 students are placed Some of the students only gets placed around 10-12 from a strength of 100 and even packages are also not that much. Some companies like Mahindra, John Deere and many more dairy companies. Average package is around 4 Lacs.
Infrastructure: You will get Wi-Fi every where in college but you have to pay for that, around 300 for 6 months. Library is just awesome and you will get a lot of books there. Hostel facilities are very poor, first hostel building is very old and also mess food is not up to the mark.
Faculty: Every teacher is not very helpful, but some of the teachers are helpful and highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not that much hard. Passing percentage is 50 percent but you will easily grab 40% in internals.
Other: Food fest and Expression Annual fest are held in the college.

Absolutely satisfied with my college and faculty members.
Placements: Nearly 75 percent deserving students gets placed every year. The highest package offered this year is 15 lakh and the lowest is 3.5 lakh. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Sonalika etc. 100 percent students gets internship from companies like Netafirm. Student gets placed as Manager, AG engineer, field execute.
Infrastructure: As our college is 112 years old, college has old construction. Still college possess Wi-Fi in campus as well as in library, AC labs, canteens etc. Hostel food is above average but hygienic. Sports meet used to held every year for students having interest in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are highly qualified. Teachers with the combined efforts of students makes student industry ready. Every year around 75% students get passed with flying colors. Question papers are moderate. If one used to study regularly and is attentive in classroom, can pass the exam without fuss.
Other: If one has keen interest in any sport, Co-curricular activities like singing, playing guitar etc. College has all those things in the campus itself. College used to arrange food fest, sports meet, fest on regular basis.

The oldest agriculture University .
Placements: In this period of pandemic, very less no of students get placement it's about 5-7% in the last batch placement record. The highest placement is 7.8 LPA and the lowest is 3.45 LPA. Mahindra. Almost 50 percent student got internship from our course in companies like Nestle, parle, Mahindra, and more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi campus, separate library for every department and a central library is also there. Well-equipped labs, washroom facilities are very good. Hostel food is a big disappointment for me, quality is degrading with each day. Medical facilities are very good, free consultation by doctor in the university hospital. A well maintained sports ground are there alot of opportunities are there for student who want to participate in sports events .
Faculty: Faculty no doubt are very good, with alot of experience in teaching. They provide best quality education to each student. Semester exam are moderately difficult. The passing percentage for both theory and practical are 33% separately. This university is the oldest agriculture based University in the country and experience is worth for it.
Other: I am pursuing B.Tech agriculture engineering, I have choose this branch because I believe it has more opportunities and career option than any other branch. One can live without mobile, car, TV, computer but cannot survive without food. More practical based activity should be done to improve the quality of knowledge. Every festival celebration, fest Events are not there, campus crowd are very good, campus surrounding are good by nature, scholarship programme are given to Christian and UP bonafide students.

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: Almost 10% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Mahindra was the top recruiting company. Almost 10% of the students got internships from college. There are various other recruitment companies like Escort and Tafe that visit the campus. The lowest salary package offered was of 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was about 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities and infrastructure. The quality of lifestyle is also average, and other things seem costly. The entire campus and hostel are Wi-Fi enabled. The quality of the food served is average. There are active medical facilities available in the college. Sports and games are also held.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, and this makes student industry-ready. Many of our teachers are from IIT and many other colleges as well. They put in equal efforts for our benefits in future and even helps us whenever needed.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. I want to develop agriculture sector .

Review of SHUATS - Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences.
Placements: I am from B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering. From our batch, some students got campus placements, and some are in India's best IIT colleges. Some students opt for an MBA course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5-7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ITC and Mahindra visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is average. Facilities available in our college are average. Wi-Fi facility is available in most of the campus. The library is also available in most of the departments. Food served in the mess was good. There is no gym facility at the college. Classrooms are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant, but it doesn't make the students industry-ready because of less practical work. They were very good and sometimes amazing.
